The Bears will be fine, 8-8 or so.

Well, they won the must win home opener. With the hapless Cards next week they should get to 2-1. They also have plenty of soft spots on the schedule like 2 Dets, Buff, both NYs as well as beatable teams like Miami, TB, and SF. 2 Minns , another GB, Rams and NE could be more problematic. But if the offense shows up they always have a chance due to that defense.

But … but Trubsiky really does suck. He is young enough and inexperienced enough to get better and Nagy is a creative playcaller but I just don't think Trubs will ever be a top 20 qb in this league. I hope Pace addresses this mistake while we still have this window with a great defense.

Same old Bears, all the pieces are in place EXCEPT for QB and it has plagued me my entire life

First place? FIRST PLACE! Despite Trubs Ugly game that coulda been a lot easier if Trubs didn't blow.

He still sucks real bad but this division is winnable. GB is done and a very mediocre football team with a great (yet wounded) QB. Minny is showing vulnerability (bad o-line) and I wonder what Bears D can do with that! Detroit? I don't know what to make of them but beating NE isn't as shocking as it seems as NE is also very mediocre.

I'm on the hype train so I am certain I will get my hopes shattered but at least there is reason to think the playoffs could happen this year. Outside of the Rams nobody in the NFC is any good and therefore beatable.

Nobody in the NFL is any good.

I'm on this hype train. But god, Trubs is one crappy conductor this team is stuck with.

Thats twice now where they have run this bunch formation in the redzone. First week it was vs packers where they had the o-lineman out there and it was 3 vs 2 defenders. This past week they had 4 wides out there vs 3 defenders. When they have this i feel they need to throw it there especially with someone like cohen.

Trubisky for MVP!!!!!!!!!

Or not I hope this game launches him to the next level though. He still threw a couple of really questionable balls and stared down his receivers. But that doesn't matter so much when they are wide open. He did drop a couple of absolute dimes which was encouraging. Nagy called a great game and I was hoping/expecting to see this version of Cohen with him calling the plays.

Everybody pretty much shreds the Bucs though but still a very impressive display of offensive firepower. With this D all the offense has to do is be competent and if they can be even more playoffs will definitely happen

Defense spent too much time in the bye week reading their own press clippings.

Everything that could go wrong did go wrong in that game and they still had three chances to win the game.

How has Howard just totally disappeared from this offense?

He is getting 17+ Touches a game, how much more of our O should we route through the leader of our least effective personnel sets?

14 Rushes for 70 yards and a TD would have been a fine line to have.

He is not getting 20 carries a game so don't expect 100 yards every week. But in this offense he has been fine. Tampa for some reason decided to play last years Bears team and focused on stopping him. I would not expect a lot of teams to do that going forward and he will stay in that 15 carries for 65-75 yard range.

so white is pretty much gone next year? do we even need him? why hasn't he gotten more playing time?

also what do you think we will draft next year since offense and defense both look good?

Right Tackle would be Ideal for our first pick imo, Massie is an FA and we got nobody behind him.

White can block and that's it unfortunately. Quite the bust even by bears standards.

Bears should be 5-0 but got ridic sequence of events + moron conservative coaching at the end of two games. Still giving up a bazillion yards to BROCK OSWEILER is concerning as hell. Think we get destroyed by Brady again this week.

It's a team that loses to good teams that'll beat the hell out of bad teams.

Good news! There are probably 4 good teams in the NFL. Saints, Rams, Pats and Chiefs. Then, amazingly, I think it is the Bears.

Earlier in the year I would have said that maybe the hiring of dinosaur head coaches is done with the Bears and Rams turnaround. Then the Browns start talking about hiring Cowher.

Really looking forward to tonights Minny game. This one is crucial! Trubisky has actually started to look real good the past few weeks. Maybe getting a little more experience is all he needed? Nagy is a breath of fresh air and really has this offense looking like something very unfamiliar to long term Bears fans.

I think they handle the Vikings pretty easily but then again I am a diehard optimist. I think they chew Cousins up. A big win here tonight should silence a lot of the doubters. I am all over the Bears bandwagon! This attitude generally ends badly

I feel like this is the biggest game for the Bears since they lost to Green Bay in 2013.

and they're up 11-0. wtf.

I feel very confident about the playoffs now! But Trubisky had a miserable game and was pretty bad for the first time in at least a little while. I guess we can put some of that on Vikings D being legit. The Bears D though is extremely legit.

From late Sunday game to early Thursday game may be the shortest NFL turnaround ever? The Lions are unpredictable and usually very good on turkey day. Really hoping the Bears don't blow it here after the buildup to the more important MIN game. They should be able to take care of bidness from here on out and win the north. It's been a while and hoping they can overachieve!
