Yeah, this was ugly today but let's be honest, it would've been a decent-sized shock if we actually won.

Time to regroup.

i wasn't thinking we'd win. just that it'd be close because of the weather. not get completely ripped at HOME.

Oh, 100% agree with you cool, it was an embarrassment. That entire locker room should feel shame tonight. But it's nice to get away relatively unscathed after a total stinker and still keep the division lead.

If this doesn't piss off our boys, nothing will. I like our chances going forward for the rest of the season. All 3 are winnable games. The Jets look less impressive each week.

I might be wrong, but isn't it a complete myth that snow slows down passing offenses? I mean, Brady certainly has a good record in terrible weather. I'm pretty sure rain is way more effective in making it a grindfest.

So if Bears win and GB loses this weekend, Bears clinch NFC North?

Well technically the Bears win Monday and the Packers lose all the Packers can do is tie the Bears then even if they beat them they will have split the season series but the Bears would have a better division record than the Pack. So beating Minn is huge wherever the hell this game is played.

I don't know how I feel about a game outside in a stadium with field turf that has no heat coils underneath it. The chance for ice on the field is really high. I do like that the Vikings fear is that if the game is played outside of Minnesota it would turn into a de facto home game for the Bears.

How ****** is your season when you were a Superbowl favorite to start, now you are playing out the string with your home stadium falling down?

Still a decent chance the game isn't even played at TCF Bank Stadium

T.Jack now to IR.

So that leaves Vikes likely starting QB a bum they've just signed off the street (Ramsey). Looks like they wouldn't start that sorta-uncoverted rookie WR kid (Webb).

If the Pack lose in NE (surely) we had better TAKE that Monday game. If we don't we don't have much of a team.

Because this week has fallen into our lap like a gift from the gods (especially if Rodgers doesn't play).

BTW think how much we've been owned in the first half the last two weeks. Get your boys prepared to play 60, Lovie.

pretty much we'll know going in if we can clinch with a win or not. If they can't get up for that game then against a possible 3rd string QB ...

Also find it weird the Bears are making such a big stink about not wanting the game at TCF stadium.

Why? Cutler complained about how hard our home turf is and this is gonna be worse. He does get hit a lot so complaints are valid

Wining this game is huge because it forces the Pack to finish the year beating the Patriots with their back-up QB, beat the Giants with possibly their back-up QB or Rodgers being one hit from leaving the game against a D-line that has knocked out half the QBs in the league and then having to beat the Bears.

I really do get the idea of complaining about a frozen field. First, you are pretty much guaranteed to miss at least the next game if you get a concussion. This late in the year that is huge. Second I'm not sure how often you have been slammed into concrete by a 300 pound guy, but it can't feel good. Third, there are injuries from slipping on a field like that were pretty common in the70s, 80s and early 90s before they had heating coils installed under playing surfaces.

I really don't know how field turf will react compared to the way old astroturf did when frozen, but I'm pretty sure if I was a player I wouldn't want to find out.

i had this terrifying dream of AP reeling off like 160 and 3tds and single handedly carrying the vikes offense over the bears.

The Green Bay Packers downgraded starting QB Aaron Rodgers (concussion) from doubtful to out on Saturday for Sunday's game against the host New England Patriots.

srsly if we don't wrap the div up monday we're not much of a playoff team. :P

I hope this is true in the 2nd half, cuz its def not in the first

Disgusting Pats emotional slowroll. Time to wrap this up.

Although this game scares me. Our D looked terrible in cold weather last week, like just ****ing clueless, slipping and sliding everywhere. Granted, the opposition tomorrow (aside from AP) is far worse, but dammit they better come ready to play.

I think with how close the packers came to beating their hardest opposition left, thats gotta light a bit of a fire under the bears, or at least I hope

Think I'd rather face rookie Webb than ZombieFavre though.

Please let's not have the Vikes backdoor into a future QB (with Webb) against us, like the the Packers did with Favre.

Bears can gripe about "no respect" all they want, but when they have a habit of embarassing themselves in big games they don't deserve any.

As much as it disgusts me to say it, the Packers put up a performace on the road against the Patriots, with a backup QB (and a massively crocked team), that the Bears couldn't even dream of doing at home with a fully fit team. Not good.

After that I'm damn glad we can get out of that "win or bust" Week 17 showdown. Though the Packers are really developing a Lion-like choker history in close games. Which makes me smile like the Joker.
