Leno-Whitehair-Grasu-Long-Massie

This is not a good OL right now.

I'm definitely worried about Leno.
And not even sure about Grasu. He better have beefed up. The rumours about Slauson being injured or something better be true, because he rocked at Center last year.

I'm just surprised they're happy with those bookends. Tunsil at 11 man. It's a wonder they didn't consider it. And sounded like Packers ****ed 'em in the 2nd with the tradeup for a Tackle.

Foxball is all about the Defense I guess.

2 quarters into pre-season and I am pretty confident that the Bears are gonna suck OL blows. 5 sacks, some hurries and a blocked punt. No way I watch the second half.

It is against the defending champs though and since its only very early pre-season it doesn't (hopefully) mean much. First team was a 3 and out machine though. I wanna be optimistic. They are gonna make that hard to do though

Hey! They actually scored! They kinda look like a real football team so far. Good drive stalled by penalties leading to a FG and than an actual defensive stop. We'll see only 1st quarter.

Dropping Gould with no other kicker on the roster? I bet they lose at least 2 games due to missed xp's and Fox will almost never go for 2. I could see it if Gould had lost it but he's still probably the best kicker they ever had.

You take kickers for granted but with the new xp distance a lot more of them fail and Gould was usually money on long FGs.

Shocked at the news. Gould is a legend. But it looked like he'd lost it.

One thing we' e learnt is that Fox/Pace are cold blooded. There's absolutely no "brownie points" affecting decisions. Big change from Lovie.

Also, just signed Josh Sitton to a 3-year deal. Plan is for him to stick at LG, and Whitehair to compete with Larsen for starting C. Very happy with the signing.

the odds of us finding a guy who can kick at soldier field after November 1 are precisely 0.

Gould's kickoffs to the 15 yard line were brutal. Also, he blew 2 games last year and missed 2 eps on Thursday. Plus he was one of the last hold overs from the previous regime, an outspoken union rep, and cutting him saved $3m. Was a no-brainer.

I hope this doesn't come back to haunt them when they are hosting playoff games this December. It's nice we open in Houston to get a feel for the field they will be playing the super bowl on.

Go Bears! Only time this season I get to be enthusiastic

my issue is with the timing, all of this was true 4 months ago

One half down and we're winning! They actually look good and I want them to finish this thing.

GOTTA BELIEVE until they prove us wrong

Always believed. Fox year two. Lots of additions.

Even if we don't win today, we're playing a playoff team on the road, the arrow is pointing up.

Needed another angle but the spot on that Osweiler sneak looked so bogus

OK we looking trash now.

Offense not impressive. Fox p***es me off for the pointlessness of 2-3 yards per carry Langford. Cost us all momentum in the 2nd half. Where's the running back by committee? Langford doesn't run hard enough. For Fox's approach you need Howard or Carey.

Really ugly second half. They definitely got jobbed on the mark on that QB sneak. No way that was a first down. But they just beat the hell out of Cutler that second half. No time, no protection and he was nothing but a tackling dummy. O-Line was just really bad that second half.

Still did better than I expected.

Second half INT, Punt (x5), Turnover on Downs.

So much for that arrow pointing up, Loggains took a page from the Tice JWebb days in the second half.

Such a disappointing coaching performance from Fox and friends.

Brand new line's first game together against that D line, they'll be okay

Yeah, they sure s*** the bed in the 2nd half. I mean, it's a playoff team on the road, though.

I am annoyed at the coaching staff also. Too much Langford, too little Carey/Howard. Play calling was flatter than year-old Cola.

I think Jay got his head a little scrambled. He took some hard hits, and held on to the ball at times in the 2nd half. It was getting like that Giants game from a few years ago.

Monday almost becomes a must win. As crazy as that sounds this early. Because if you can't beat a rookie QB in his 2nd start, when you're at home, then your team might be done.

A must win for what? You think this team is a playoff squad?

Coaching staff should be better, we all know Massie isn't going to hold up 1-1 in pass protection against quality rushers. All of us except Loggains and Fox of course.

whitehair screwed up the sneak on 4th and 1 but he's literally new to the center position (and interior OL as well). White caused a cutler INT too. welcome to real NFL games guys.

Meh, it's pretty silly to attack the coaching staff week 1 for losing @ division title team from last year, we can't keep everyone in protection for our tackles who couldn't block their ends. Then we have few receivers going out for passes and they have really good cornerbacks. We didn't look like the rams at least.

With getting Wentz/Prescott the next 2 weeks, if we're gonna have a decent season or better those are games we better win.

No attack for losing, attack for HOW specifically they lost.

Coaching Staff let the entire team down the entire second half.

Int, Punt, Punt, Punt, Punt, Punt, Turnover on Downs, is on Fox/Loggains.

Playoffs? PLAYOFFS? I'm thinking Superbowl. Minimum.

MNF crew (apart from Ditka and Moss) are tearing us a new one. Honestly, I think we're better than that. I hope so. I think we're better than people think. I don't think were the bottom 5 junk that most people seem to.

Maybe it's just too much Kool-Aid. I guess we might find out tonight. Super stoked for this one.

Bear the **** down and murder these ****ers!
