I love my Green Bay Packers.

I think Jay is now 1-10 vs Green Bay.

There's plenty of blame in this game to go around (can't wait for another 3rd round pick on a safety).

Jay played rather well tonight. I was very happy with his game.

It was a great ball game. We still have a ways to go. I'm still crushed.

Too true. People can drag up as much injury excuse as they want, when you have the worst run D the league has seen in 50 years then GTFO.

It just sucks. I know my next door neighbor is drunk as a monkey jerking himself off in his jordy nelson jersey and cheesehead wedge.

Way to many packer fans in lake county. I just wanna puke.

yep this one stings, we're not very good but was nice to see the defense out there running around with more violence than we've seen this year, in the end they're just not talented enough and prob not smart enough either.

bummed about the game but completely unrustled by fools trolling the thread, let them post, who cares, the good packers and lions posters already are embarrassed by them

Was that the luckiest td all year? Force a Rodgers fumble on 3rd down and score a td. GTFO

That late hit called on Shane Mccellean was the worst call I saw all season.

How do refs not call the obvious delay of game on 4th and 1.

Packers r fkn garbage.

And cmon Jeffrey u gotta make that catch.

not losing to the 2nd worst team in the league and we win the division

that whole minnesota debacle and we win the division

not getting swept by the lollions and we win the division

those alone we definitely didn't deserve it but yeah losing @ home on the line again to main rival this decade does sting

Now on to the important things, don't pay Cutler 100M. Sign one of the many good safety options that appear to be available in FA.

Blow up this d, nuke conte out of orbit

this x 1000

sticking with cutler, at best, is going with "the devil you know". Mainly it's just cowardice... he couldn't run the offense as well as mccown, he doesn't go through his progressions properly, and he couldn't get it done against the packers. again. his inability to exploit advantages more than half the time is not worth the 1-2 throws per game he makes that an average nfl qb doesn't.

the D is a raging dumpster fire. spending $15M+/yr on cutler is idiotic.

Conte had two opportunities to effectively end this game. It's just so ****ing sickening.

Maybe Cutler's not the answer. He's probably not. But he played a strong game tonight and threw some absolutely terrific balls. He was also victimized by a couple horrid drops and an Alshon fumble.

Please, let's not AIDS up this thread with Cutler hate. Not tonight. The dude balled. That loss is not on him.

plus it's not like anyone, even me the biggest cutler fan in the world, thinks Cutler deserves a max or w/e the ****, what is even the argument? clearly having cutler>>not having him though and this team is still capable of winning especially if they add some pieces on the D. you can't exactly blow it up with forte/alshon/marshall/bennett all coming back and in their primes+ an OL that looked pretty darn good this year, the ceiling for the offense is just too high. just franchise him and do it all over again next year, maybe you'll run better with injuries and wont have every single thing go wrong in the most important game of the season.

We simply never recovered from the Melton injury. There were a lot of holes elsewhere but losing a Pro Bowl DT kinda has a bit of an impact on your ability to stop the running game.

I don't envy Emery's position, but I have faith that he's at least intelligent enough to make some good decisions and some tough decisions. He had the stones to walk away from Urlacher this year and seek better value elsewhere, so we know he's more concerned with making the right call instead of the popular call, which is good.

Ugh...I just...it's always Rodgers. Always. It never stops hurting.

Cutler played better than Rodgers I thought.

Will be interesting to see if the D transitions now to a 34, would be the year to do it.

Assume 5 years, what's the max you guys would give CUTLAHHHH?

I feel like he'll get 5 years/80-85 Mill from somebody, if that's Chicago I don't know.

I really don't know, but I highly doubt Melton requires the franchise tag again, considering he'll just be thankful to have a job after a career-threatening injury.

I think Cutler getting tagged is the most likely outcome this offseason. Not sure if that's a good play but I don't know who else the Bears would need to franchise. One of the corners, perhaps?

Also, I think we just saw J-Pep's last game as a Bear. Wasn't a great way to end the tenure, but thanks for the memories, brah. For a couple seasons, he was flat out dominant for Lovie. But I think it's time to move on. That cap hit is crippling.

I would be very comfortable around 65, 80 wouldn't be terribad. I think he gets 6 and 100 from Minny ldo.

Conte really blew that one.

I personally think we sign cutler before next season. No tag. Can't really name a realistic price but we'll see

Mills got hurt on the sideline btw. It wasn't while playing in the game.

That was the only starting O line injury all year; that's rare.

obviously someone if not 5 people blew the defense on that cobb TD, they're lined up in cover 0 (pure man to man) but conte peels off like he's in something else. Very very unlikely they actually called cover 0 so I dunno who's fault that was.

We pick between 14 and 19

Vikings pick 8th (beating the Lions was meaningless for this once all the other 4 win teams lost)
Lions pick between 10th and 13th

draft tiebreakers are via SOS and then coin flip if needed and someone's going to put that out tomorrow somewhere probably.

Let's just blame it on Conte, it's just easier that way, lol.

Dude's been horrific all season long, I'm not going to go out of my way to give him a pass on that play.
