A rare interview with Cutler: http://www.michiganavemag.com/MA_SP09_100_NEW.html

Those pictures don't even look like him, too. Especially the third one.

Almost nobody realizes the main problem with this team last year was the defense. It's possible the defense has improved but I'm not buying it, and I'm not buying that Cutler can mask those defensive problems.

Let's start throwing out some season predictions.

I will go with 10-6.

Almost nobody realizes the main problem with the Defense last year (and the year before) was it was being called by Bob Babich. And the Defensive Backfield was shredded with injuries. Oh, and Kyle Orton couldn't move the chains for ****, so the Defense never got a breather. Nor could he put up good points.

Cutler in preseason, against first team D's (in what amounts to little more than a game of action) has led TD drives of 98 and 90 yards. And put up 37 points.

While the Bears first team D has conceeded 6 points.

Take it to the bank.

I pretty much agree with this. I was thoroughly impressed with our D throughout the preseason with Lovie calling the shots.

I, however, will withold any predictions for this team bc of my complete fail in predicting the Cubs season outcome.

Rex'll be lighting it up in Houston come Game 3. Maybe even Game 1.

Probably still hasn't got rid of Mr. Hyde though.

Anybody know how I can stream the game tonight?

My cable isn't hooked up yet and I don't have an antenna. I may just go buy one, but streaming sounds like an easy solution.

Partly. Receivers hung him out to dry on a couple of those picks. But he didn't handle the first half pressure well.

More worried about the running game (Matt 2.2 YPC FGS) and Turner's play calling.

At least the D was a rock for 98 minutes. It's early days yet.

fyp

I hope Urlacher's injury isn't too serious.

I had the sickest feeling the game was blown when a very solid late drive only resulted in a Gould FG for 15-13. 1st and goal from the 5...gotta punch that in.

Cutler's response should be very interesting. Ugh, such a sick loss.

Everytime I think the offense might be good I forget about the jackass making the play calls. That always seems to effect the running game as well.

Cutler did look pretty bad in the first half, but if some guys hold onto balls in their hands (Greg Olsen) he settles down much quicker.

Losing two LB doesn't help. Pass rush and secondary looked okay. Bowman will be taking over for Vasher once Tillman is in game shape.

Pretty pleased with the defense. If they can keep up the defense, this team is going to win alot of games with their schedule after these first few weeks.
