i dont really have the same negative opinion of hermida in lf...i mean, the ball that bounced in front of him and rolled to the wall was lol bad, but he seems to take decent routes to the ball. i dont think he's much worse than ellsbury out there.
I think it's kinda funny that the Sox are near the top in fielding according to fangraphs. Every game I've watched I've seen some really shoddy, susceptible play. So while everyone mocks the "pitching and defense" mantra, it's really only the pitching that has been ugly.
Man, last year we had one of the best bullpens in the league. This year, they've been atrocious.
