look for the yankees to take the field with 9 players tonight anything more than that is a bonus for them given that they are still reeling from the greatest choke job in the history of sport i mean really nobody can deny that but really never will be surpassed the golden age of sport is over and baseball is america's historical game and cobb to ruth to williams to now there really will never ever conceivably be a situation where giving up a 3-0 lead like they did for the sox to win 7 str8 and then win another championship while the yankees are 0 for teh milleneum and just a bunch of cheaters really that is all.

I've recently taken the position that the Yankees didn't choke away that series, since they lost to a better team, and there are no botched plays you can point to that cost them a game or a series. The only one I can stretch for is Rivera's inability to close the door, but I don't recall anyone saying he pitched poorly or made bad pitches.

Just got back from the game. All I can say is WOW, that was ****ing awesome!

You lucky guys that were there saw history. First time ever in the history of the Red Sox/Yankees that the Sox have tied it in the bottom of the 9th with a HR and then won it in extra innings with a walk off bomb.
