im saying its nice to have a mlb ready prospect in camp next year for rotation contention/spot starter instead of yanking paul byrd off a beach. i know one good start doesnt mean he's a league average pitcher right now, but thanks for contributing.

What is your definition of MLB ready?

tazawa did a good job last nite...some defense in 1st inn wulda made it even better.

And making your MLB debut at yankee stadium in a huge game isnt easy...mentally prepared for most things now

I'm not ready to go so far as to say Buccholz has turned in consecutive good starts. He didn't give up many runs vs NYY, but that was just luck, as he allowed 11 baserunners (hits+walks) in 6 IP.

I didn't see the Detroit game, but his numbers were much, much better.
