well it took about 2 weeks and contained a ton of drama, but i am essentially over 2011 and am excited about the offseason.

my predictions:

1) cubs cave soon and we get jackson
2) ortiz is gone, varitek is gone, wake is gone
3) lackey is traded to the NL and we eat the loss (this is a hope as the guy just disgusts me)
4) scutaro is back
5) papelbon i honestly dont know about. i think letting him go is probably the wise move if the cost exceeds 3/36 or something.

theo is under contract. if a team called and said we want to talk about trading for pedroia, are you willing to listen and the red sox said yes. then the team offered thier backup SS and the red sox said no would you see the commish stepping in?

red sox can do whatever they want here. theo is owned by them for 12 more months.
