i know u need a win but u cant count on bard and pap to get 9 outs u just cant, i dont like the way francona has been managing lately, but than again its his starters that arent helping out.

Not the starters fault that the Sox are making stupid error after error in the field. Bedard did fine tonight until Reddick dropped that ball.

If we make the playoffs it will only be because TB loses too many and we back in. I have no prob usually backing in but there is no way with our pitching as it is that we have a prayer of a chance in the playoffs.

Here's a sobering stat. In September during this horrible run, we are second only to Texas in total runs scored and only by 1 run. Not that we need stats to tell us how horrible our pitching is.

Toro,

The 2006 St. Louis Cardinals almost blew a 7 game lead with 12 games left in the season. 3/4 of their playoff rotation was Jeff Suppan, Jeff Weaver and Anthony Reyes. And their lineup wasn't anywhere close to as good as this Red Sox team.

They won the World Series.
