Fans are nice, though. CF video screen is incredible, can't believe it doesn't get more hype.
EDIT: Just remembered that we got a room in Booneville, about 70 miles short of KC, because I was tired of driving. Saw an Isle of Capri casino, checked in. Next day, with an afternoon to kill, I asked the kid at the front desk where the swimming pool was. THEY DON'T HAVE ONE! I'm staying at the only hotel/casino in the country that doesn't have a swimming pool! They offered to give me directions to the city's public swimming pool. Is there anyone unluckier than me?
EDIT: Just remembered I was at the game where Jason Bay hit a fly ball to the top of the wall. CF jumped up to rob him, but the ball came out of his glove and just rolled along the top of the wall for what seemed like five seconds before the LF came over and swiped it back into play.
My long-held theory that "people have become so dependent upon television's narrators that they can't fully appreciate what they see for themselves until it is explained to them" was proven yet again, as I spent the next several minutes answering requests from folks all around me for an explanation of what just happened. Either I was surrounded by nearsighted people that night, or my theory holds.
It should be in the 80s tonight, hasn't been super hot this week. LOL at you stopping in Booneville, come a little closer to KC next time
. The hotels have pools and everything. Hope you don't sweep us.
