I'm concerned that Lugo can't catch any ball of any type. Forget the simple grounder he just botched, have you seen him trying to cut off throws from the OF tonight? He can't catch them.

EDIT TO ADD: My God, this Anaheim announcer is horrible. It was just funny when he called Lugo out on Strike Two earlier. It stopped being funny when he introduced "Romero Ramirez" from the Boston pen. But he WAAAAY jumped the gun on a runner getting doubled off, calling it a double play before the runner got back in plenty of time.

dominant last night, 11k's in 8 scoreless innings. 71 strikes to 22 balls. last 4 starts he's at 26IP, 31 k's, 14 baserunners. sick numbers, but i'd think they're only going to call him up when he has a rotation spot to stick to (or else they would have called him up when dice k went down and left masterson in the bullpen). with dice k coming back soon and smoltz ready in a month or so, i doubt they'll bring him up for a few starts. maybe theo is floating penny to teams in desperate need of starters, who knows. i fear buchholz is going to be shipped out at the trade deadline and become an ace for the rangers.
