i wouldnt complain if good pitchers (papelbon, ramirez, saito, mdc somewhat, okajima) give up runs, it happens. lopez seems to put himself in those positions however, he doesnt seem capable of consistently throwing strikes. with 2 other lefties in the pen, i just dont understand what he brings to the table. hopefully dan bard takes his spot before june.

I read something on Boston.com that was very vague. All it said was that he got sent home with an illness that had similar synptoms of the one that caused him to miss some Spring training games. I didn't even know that he had missed some games in ST so I don't have a clue what the illness may be. It did also say he may return by Wednesday.
