The fact that one of the NYY TB or BOS teams is going to miss the post season seem likes such a travesty.

Unless it's the Yankees.

Still, I like how cautious the team is being with pitching staff (Beckett and Daisuke) and not trying to force anything this year. It still feels like a transition year even if the outfield by proxy is doing very well in their fill in role.

nice work getting out of the jam. i agree with the announcers, though. clay wasn't awful that inning. he just kept missing by inches.

I dont think there is any set timetable for Ellsbury which would make you think it could be a couple of months before we see him again
