hmm, pretty sure i don't like that move. schoenweis seems to have been the victim of bad luck. .400 BABIP, and well over .500 against lefties. He struck out 10 of the 29 lefties he faced. Seems like a bad decision to me, but what do I know.

(I mean, put it this way, as atrocious as our bullpen is, schoenweis isn't close to our biggest problem)

I know DiceK got shelled by the Yankees last week, but if you guys keep this Dice-K with 92~95mph fastball and willingness to attack hitters, this guy is gonna be a whole lot better than the 5.83ERA he's got now.

lol. they ve been trying to get him to attack hitters since he got here. he doesnt care. i think today has a lot more to do with tek behind the plate then anything else. they should just catch tek for all of his and becketts starts.

i wonder if dice k will reveal why he has the implode inning every start now that he pitched a great game without vmart behind the plate..

That's the thing.

He has been attacking hitters. Yankees raped him in teh process but he was throwing strikes at the heart of the plate in that 7IP performance before the Yankees bomb too.

Actually, if he runs better, he'll be a lot better than the 5.83 ERA he has now. 3.82 FIP and 4.63 xFIP before tonight's game. Dice K has mostly been the victim of bad luck. It was nice to see him get a bit of luck tonight and not have every ball in play go for a hit.

well if hes running -ev now its making up for the 18-3 lol year.

in all honesty ive always liked dice k and feel like he didnt buy into the teams idea of how to prepare for the season until this year.

this could be the year he puts it all together but its hard to get too excited after two starts.

any of yall listen to the sports hub? felger is killing it and i love seeing the weei dbags losing listeners. hes pretty over the top but it makes for great radio, imo

pretty much. He was decent in 2008, but he ran like god. He's been decent this year, and running poorly.
