If I'm understanding things correctly, Benny was responsible for all 3 outs in an 11-run inning. This is apparently the 48th time for one batter to be responsible for all 3 outs, excluding triple plays, of which there have been 717.

(No batters have gone 0-3 probably not surprisingly)

This team is fun. Kimbrel is not so fun. Although as much as a heart attack as he has been in the postseason he still hasnt blown a save.

Not sure why trying to get 6 outs from Kimbrel would ever be a good idea right now, but oh well.

It's a shame none of the setup guys they traded for like Thornburg & Smith can ever actually stay healthy or these end games would probably be much less stressful.

Buuuut, 5 more wins.

What an outing from Price. Legit happy for him to finally get it done. Was dreading Kimbrel coming in for the 9th but Cora can do no wrong.

Getting the win today was soo big in terms of getting the pitchers right for the World Series.

Pretty impressive going through 2 100 win teams and going 5-0 on the road.

Yeah i have total confidence in Eovaldi right now if thats the route they want to go. I like where their pitching staff is at right now that they can afford to play it whatever way plays out best for Sales start. If they are to announce that Sale gets game 1 it would make me feel like he is over whatever he was dealing with.

Outside of the rotation order the big question is what the OF looks like on the road. My heart wants JD, Betts and Benny but it might be smarter/safer to switch Benny with JBJ.

Also hoping that there was truth to Kimbrel tipping his pitches and that issue is solved now.

Sale is legit the best pitcher in baseball. Even if he is somehow only 85% you want him in games 1 and 5 and as a weapon for game 7. I think it goes sale price eovaldi Porcello. But maybe against dodgers you consider a erod Porcello combo in game 4

What a wild turn of events that the player that im most confident in right now whether hitter/pitcher is Eovaldi. Nice to see Kimbrel looking like he got his stuff back too.

Really hope Price builds on his last start and get another W tonight. Im a sucker for redemption stories.

Really home that game last night isnt the backbreaker it feels like. With the question marks surrounding the pitching tonight I would just go all out offense and try to win a high scoring game. Go with Mookie at 2nd, OF of Benny/JBJ/JD. Hell id even go with Swihart at catcher

Great outing from Erod all things considered. Gave more than i thought he could and I dont hold the HR against him that much as i dont think he should have been left in to face Puig.

Thank god the bats woke up in the 7th. Was worried for a bit. Devers going to be a star going forward. Hes so comfortable at the plate in big spots. Feel really good about the rest of the series now. Hopefully Sale can finish it off tomorrow. (ETA.... Apparently Price is starting tomorrow.)
