It's more than just injuries. They lost to the Nets for crying out loud.

They got old. No Pierce hurts. Allen and KG have gone so far downhill. And the bench sucks. Rasheed, Scal, BBGD are not very good players. In fact, Brian Scalabrine getting any playing time whatsoever should be grounds for firing Doc.

Wow, three ugly games in a row at home. I can't figure out what is going on with this team.

And now they're blasting the Cavs. I guess everyone got worse over the off-season.

Re: Boston Celtics

KG was talking some serious trash at the end of this game. Definitely not smart but entertaining as hell. He ragged on LBJ for missing his free throw and then when KG made his own to seal the game, I think he was telling LBJ and the Cavs "suck my dick".

He must be feeling great health wise to be that into the trash talk again, maybe a good sign.

No bump for tonight's game? I'm feel pretty good about this season. Can't wait to see what the Heat are all about. It would be so great to win by 30 tonight.

Re: Boston Celtics

good win, but you couldn't have picked a better time to play the heat. at home, with fresh legs, against a team that hasn't had time to gel? can't get too excited just yet, but i'm fairly content with tonight.

Agreed. It's great to have some real front court depth this year though! Last year it was so painful to watch the Sheed & Davis combo, since neither really seemed to give a **** about getting defensive rebounds (and lol Shelden). It's great to always have one of KG, Shaq, or JO in at all times to help on the boards.

Poetic justice or something like that, that the Cavs beat us the next night after we beat the best team ever assembled?

Before clicking the links, I had intended to post something to the effect that these fights happen all the time in sports and it would be ridiculous to over react and release him. But if that 2nd link description is accurate, that's pretty bad. Ainge probably has read him the riot act and next time he pulls anything, he'll be gone.

Re: Boston Celtics

Nice win again last night. I know it's still to early to say but it would be so nice to see the Heat fall flat on their face.

The Celts starting five look fantastic once again and the bench is even strong. It's all about Eighteen!!!!

Re: Boston Celtics

Nice win, but how did they give up (so much, but not all) of that lead late in the game. I wasn't paying too close attention, were they just resting all their starters?

Re: Boston Celtics

Nice win last night against an up and coming Knicks team. Gotta love KG after the game. They asked him about a rivalry with the Knicks and he says "They have to win a game before it becomes a rivalry". Awesome.

And I have to say, I love the Celtics but Pierce really is a pretty big douche. The whole bowing thing was just a bit much.
