Ray Rice looks questionable this week. According to the Sun, MRI revealed no ligament damage, just bruising.

"Must win" is grossly overused imo, but this is a huge huge game for this Ravens team.

Please, this game @ Pitt is so far away from "must win". I hope they do win, but anyone using must win for this game is an idiot.

it's not must win but it would go a long long way. losing drops us to 2-2 and 2 games behind PIT for the division, possibly one behind the Bengals if they win @ CLE. AFC wildcards are going to be very hotly contested, it's so competitive. and I'd say our schedule is fairly difficult. aside from the Saints all of our tough games are on the road (@ NE, @ ATL, @ HOU).


also, wouldn't be surprised if they hold back Rice for a week to rest and roll with McGahee and McClain against PIT.

It is very close to a must-win. A loss drops them 2.5 games back off the division lead.

For sure. IIRC he missed practice again today/yesterday (the 29th). Hopefully we'll see him on the field crushing some ****tsburgh dreams. Gonna a ton tougher to pull out a win without him.

also, pryce is now a jet since we had to make room for ken hamlin.

Yea, I don't fully understand terminating Pryce's contract. Right after it happened I read something from Harbs saying we planned on picking him back up, but then he gets snap snatched up by the Jets. I understand we were paying him a lot and he might not have been performing up to that standard... but really? To activate Ken Hamlin who we recently took off the roster to make room for Cary Williams.

We're favourites by about a touchdown which I guess is fair. Though this game kind of scares me as a trap game. Denver has been throwing like crazy and that's still the achilles heel of this defense imo, regardless of the numbers put up against us in the air: we haven't faced a decent QB. And McDaniels really has Orton airing it out. I expect this game to be pretty close.

Rice appears to be 100% again, which is good. Kruger and Gaithier are both still out. Haven't heard much news on Reed lately either.

lol trap game.

crushed the Broncos. 14 point win isn't really indicative of how how much better we were imo. as in other games Orton just compiled bulk stats in garbage time, and also put up like 75%+ of their first half yardage on their first TD drive. Broncos didn't even get into Ravens territory until a minute or two left in the second half. not sure why our offense just slowed up there for those 2nd quarter drives but defense still contained them.

great display of pounding the ball on the ground. score could have been even better had we not had that awful exchange on the first drive. maybe this will spark Harbaugh to use Rice on the goal line over McGahee. I still like McGahee a lot and as a change of pace back he's great but Rice is damn good.

also, Reed is confirmed to be coming back in week 7. woot!
