How is the offense going to be fun to watch. Ravens are in the AFC north. You have to run the ball. Ravens couldn't.
Worst football I have seen two 'Super Bowl Contenders' ever play
This game was pretty much everything everyone expected it to be. I don't think either team played bad by any stretch.
Both defenses played outstanding football... like we all thought they would. One of the big reasons Ray couldn't get anything going on the ground (aside from it being the Jets defense) was that our O-line was depleted. I don't think our line has looked this bad in a while, no matter who the defense. Once we get Gaither back and move Yanda back to the inside (and maybe Oher back to the right side?) I think we'll be able to run the ball much more efficiently and give Joe some extra time in the pocket.
As for Flacco... I mean he wasn't outstanding but I think aside from a few arrid throws (mainly the one to a wide open McClain in the redzone (WTF was that btw?)) he played well.
Heap looked like the Heap of years past, Boldin looked fantastic, Housh made catch to convert on 3rd with that big ass frame, and Mason was just stuck on Revis Island most of the night.
As for the defense, our D-line looked incredible. My only gripe is Redding not picking that ball off to end the game. Once Cody is back I really feel bad for anyone trying to run the ball on us. Ngata may have been the Player of the Game while once again convincing me he is the best DL in the game today.
Ray ray was just bein' ray ray out there today. My only question is when Keller is going to come out of the stupor Ray put him in
. Suggs looked alot more athletic today than he did last year. Looks like his offseason went well and that he could make a push for DPOY if he keeps up the ways he's played the preseason and today. Johnson was solid, as always. Didn't hear too much about McClain, but that can't ever be a bad thing.
Our DBs looked really good today, surprisingly enough. Carr was def the most shocking performance of the night. The only other thing I can really say about them other than they were solid is... WTF Zibby? You literally almost cost us the game with that ****ing boneheaded punt return! Looks like we need Webb back for more than 1 reason :-\
All in all it was a great win. I feel as though if we didn't give the ball up 3 f'n times in the first half (quarter?) we would have won this one decisively... but that's why the play the game.
PS: How ****ing good was Joe Cool on 3rd downs today? My lord. If he was ever a 10th of how clutch he was today I don't see how we wouldn't have won every postseason game he played. I like it
