well, the broncos actually had that game, but whatever. happy to see them at 8-7 nonetheless.

it's win-and-you're-in for the Jets, thanks to strong strength of victory (stupid indy for pulling their starters). if we win, we have a pretty darn good shot at making it in.

The Broncos had the game until they didn't have it.

If the Ravens win, they are in. That is better than a pretty darn good shot.

Thanks! Now, do the same against the Colts, so the Jets host the AFCCG? Thanks again

yeah, it kind of sucks knowing you have to win three games on the road just to get to the show

That was a great win. When you can run a team over when they know you are going to run is the ultimate beatdown. Considering the opponent and the venue this was by far the Ravens best performance of the season.

Hopefully, Indianapolis will have some rust from the bye week and the two previous no effort games at seasons end.

well, continuing the trend of the year, Ravens shoot themselves in the foot with dropped passes and penalties (some warranted, some not)

pretty happy though with how the team is looking going forward... our lines are solid, and hopefully Lewis still has gas in the tank (I don't see why not, he still plays at an elite level). I would terribly disappointed to see Reed leave, and hopefully his and Mason's retirement bits are just knee jerk reactions to the loss.

clearly biggest move in the offseason is to supplement our WR corps. I would absolutely kill to pull Marshall or Boldin into town. hopefully it would take off the dependence on the run game and allow Flacco to finally get a dependable #1 to target. oh, and someone who might not drop every third pass.

If anyone's listening, Mason has been signed to a 2-year deal... salary unknown yet but I imagine it's probably a fair deal for both. Very pleased with this.

So what are the thoughts for our 1st and 2nd round picks now?

TE, speedy outside WR, corner?

With Boldin/Mason/Clayton/Stallworth along with Rice/Heap they're sitting a heck of a lot better, but taking a young WR to be Mason future replacement makes sense to me. Next biggest area is a corner indeed. I think Heap is fine as it is now but that's just imo.

The Ravens draft philosophy has usually been selecting their highest rated player available.

lol, we just killed the second and third rounds. It was kinda like people passing on Oher last year imo.

I'm extremely happy with Cody, Kindle and Dickson.

Petition to have thread title changed so exlude "Steelers" and/or move steelers to the end of the title and have something about not raping women in it, too.
