gonzo countdown to dfa. enough is enough. total meltdown last night.

--eat at Boog's bbq. have a couple cold ones. enjoy.
--inner harbor is just down the street from the ballpark, and has a number of restaurants/drinking holes.
--i would take the lightrail, esp if boozing before/during/after game.

He's already given up more hits, HR, runs, and ER in 12.2 IP this season than he did last season in 24.2 (though "only" 5 walks compared to 14 last season)

I understand last night Buck was kind of forced to put him in, but I just can't see a reason under normal circumstances for Gonzalez to be put in another game this season period. If he does manage to get in another game, I'm really gonna start wondering about Buck. This is getting ridiculous, just stop ****ing putting Gonzalez in games and half the problems will be gone.

Also, I didn't see the pitch because I turned the game off and went to get food as soon as Gonzalez was put in..the pitch that he hit someone in the face: was it accidental?

Actually didn't even go to the harbor. We started walking toward the Park assuming the harbor was down there somewhere. Then we drank and ate at Slider's Pub for a while, then went into that Pickles Pub for some more drinks. Then we asked where the harbor was. By that time gate's were about to open and I was like nope, ain't walkin' that far.

Went inside, grabbed a crabcake, watched the Nats batting practice, yelled "Warning Track Power!" at Werth cause he flew out twice to the warning track; ofc he goes in again and puts 2 almost into the 2nd deck. Then my buddy walked down close and told Brian Bixler (former Bucco) even the Altoona Curve didn't want you. That our starting shortstop is Ronny Cedeno that's how bad you were. He just looked over and shook his head. Heckling scrubs ftw.

I liked it there. I'd like to go back when the Yankees come to town.

vladdy red hot. 7 straight multi-hit games before sunday, then on sunday he only hit the game-winning HR.

and yes it is good to see guthrie get more than 2 runs and a W. :-)

but we've been pretty healthy and now b rob and dlee are dl'd. and of course the bullpen is a complete mess. you cant trust anyone outside of koji, johnson and gregg in a close game. and really gregg, johnson haven't been spectacular or anything.

but matusz will help A LOT. plus markakis will hit sometime (and maybe reynolds, too?). and roberts hasn't done anything since the first week and dlee hasn't been very good. and hopefully the young starters hold up over the long season.

7-12 vs the east - got to improve that a lot.

but yeah i'll take being only 4 out at this point.

Anyone know if it's easier/cheaper/whatever to park somewhere off of Pratt, or Lombard? Or are they pretty much the same? Meeting my brother's fiancee at the stadium for the game tonight, I've never parked there before (or driven around the city really, have the GPS though for when I get lost). I live in northeast Maryland so there's not really any mass transit option. The park and ride near me that used to have buses for the games apparently stopped running.
