We won't know a whole lot of what this team can do financially until the CBA is resolved. At least there is hope with Teague at the point now.

you would think Teague is gonna be runnin the show from now on but we've been in this situation before when Bibby was here. Hinrich and Craw are gonna eat a lot of mins at point maybe leavin Teague the odd man out

So one of the first things Danny Ferry does as GM is get rid of Johnson and his massive contract, and lets Smoove and his shot-selection walk.

Drafts some foreign guys... well, he did an ok job with Parker and Splitter and others in San Antonio.

Extends Jeff Teague, he looks like The Man at PG now.

Signs Paul Millsap for a relative pittance, 2 yrs $19M

And this is unquestionably Al Horford's team now. At least until we fall out of it and he becomes trade bait.

Am I crazy for thinking this team can compete for a 6-8 seed in the East?

Nah you're not crazy, we're probably a fringe playoff team. Anywhere from 6-10 imo. Which, you know, is awful.

Was hoping Horford would move back to PF this season but I guess that's not happening

. oh well. Should be a decent team to watch I think.

Had season tickets last year to support Danny Ferry's immediate removal of Marvin and Joe from the team. Didn't renew this season, but that's more to do with friends dropping out and a total lack of service from our account executive.

Definitely agree that we could end up being a solid 6-8 seed, but could also see us making more moves to finish blowing it up. I wouldn't mind moving Milsapp but it would suck to see Horford leave.

We will likely end up with the 5th seed and homecourt, as the least loser from Atlantic division has to be top 4, but we will have better record than them so get homecourt

We win round 1 and lose 2nd round to pacers or heat (whoever ends up #1 seed)

We root for nets to fail hard this year and end up in lottery so we can get a lottery pick from them this year (we have rights to swap picks this year AND next) and hope they "win" the lotto and we can add Wiggins to this team

Teague/Dennis
Korver/Lou/Jenkins
Wiggins/DMC
Millsap/Scott
Horford/Bebe

Plus cap space this summer with ability to draw a good player given a good coach/system, wiggins, etc

Teague hit a buzzer-beater in 2OT that bounced off the rim 5 times and went in, finishing with 34 and 14 dimes!

He made some big 3's down the stretch, and Kyle Korver extends his NBA-record 98 straight games with a 3.

This team is awesome and fun to watch, and the 3 seed is definitely in play!

The Nets lost Lopez for the season too. A top 10 pick is a legit possibility now imo.

Jeff Teague is being linked in trade rumors to New York Knicks.

I hope he stays put, I like Teague a lot and he's really put it all together this year.
