Osi's fumble recovery/return with no time left was one of the funniest things I've ever seen live, only topped by actually making everyone trot out there for the PAT. Man, what a failure that 4th quarter was all around.

The Cardinals are basically locked into the #5 seed, right? With the way the Seahawks are playing, them as the #1 seems like a foregone conclusion.

If we win the division, that'd be basically the best possible 1st round matchup for us, a team we already beat in the Dome!

Since the divisions were realigned in 2002, each team in the NFC South has won the division championship exactly 3 times, and none in consecutive years.

The runner-up in the West gets the 5. And like you said, that will almost certainly be the Cards, because they would have to beat the 49ers on the road with Logan Thomas while Seattle loses at home to the Lambs.

Yeah it doesn't appear anyone in the division is set up all that great for the immediate future, Saints most of all (maybe aside from Tampa because loltampa) but who knows the Seahawks and Niners were trash not all that long ago.

I agree that Mike Smith is done with anything less than a SB appearance. If we win the SB I will gladly suffer through 5 more years of Mike Smith even though he won't have earned them. At this point basically nothing bad can happen the rest of the season outside of a career ending injury to Matt Ryan or Julio.

Of course, I will still be crushed whenever we inevitably lose.

I will be at the game on Sunday rooting hard for a win. Should be an awesome atmosphere given the fans really tend to show up for games that matter and this is a de facto playoff game.

Last week was our Superbowl, we got up for that one and definitely had a hangover and came out flat for this one.

Matt didn't have a good game, neither did the O-line or the defense.

7 teams have a worse record than us, so I guess we're flipping for the 8th pick with St. Louis, who also finished 6-10.

Who do we want for Head Coach? I'd be happy with Rex Ryan, he's never had a good quarterback and he could always coach defense.

These guys play one game a week. This is a Winner-take-all game at HOME for the division. Using that excuse is pretty weak. It is possible to win 2 elimination games in a row.

I wasn't trying to excuse how bad they played, that's just how it looked to me. I agree that they're professionals and we had every reason to think they'd be motivated for this game. It just seemed like a let-down game to me.

Kinda like how the GT moneyline vs UGA was the freest of free money after Missouri clinched the east. No way their hearts were in that game.

I didn't see that the Giants are also 6-10.

I coulda sworn we flipped a coin for draft order with somebody last year. Is that not a thing?

Everyone should watch the Blank press conference if you haven't already. Not only talked about the decision to fire Smith but also the strengths and weaknesses of the team. Towards the end they talk about the lack of a pass rush. Good stuff.
