That was a particularly painful loss.

So how would you prioritize our draft needs?

I'd say #1 has to be getting a pass-rusher,

I don't know HOW you'd fix the O-line, but they need work,

and I guess the rest needs to be upgrading the front 7. Who are we keeping there? I think we need to move on from Biermann, Bartu, and Umenyiora.

I guess I'm keeping Worrilow, maybe Massaquoi, maybe Peters. We've signed Babineaux, Soliai, and Jackson for multiple years, and they're meh.

I just don't see us being competitive soon without a massive roster overhaul.

It was a great week in the division for the Falcons. We won and everyone else lost.

Now 1 game back of New Orleans, and .5 a game back of the Panthers, whom we play this week.

Does this team have a run in them in the latter part of the season?

...And a week after I said give up on them, Biermann and Osi both had good games on Sunday, so what do I know.

I'm with you but let's not forget 2 of 3 wins are against the bucs. But we did beat the saints, so who knows

Hey man all I want is a shot as we head down the stretch. If Eli Manning can luckbox his way to two rings, we can at least win the lowly NFC South. I believe! Panthers game is hoooooooooge.

A tie does not count as a win. Coming into today, the Falcons were 3-6 and the Panthers were 3-6-1. That is tied in the standings. If the Panthers were 4-6, that would be a half game back.

The play calling is atrocious IMO. We kept trying to run the ****ing bubble screen all day when Carolina was sitting on it. The defense is actually starting to improve in baby steps and I love the way Trufant plays out there. I'm not sure our coaching staff for the most part understands how to put the players we have in positions to succeed. Kroy is hot garbage now and it's comedic when I constantly see him falling into coverage.

Blame vs Browns

87.5% mike smith
10% offense
2.5% defense (at least they try and occasionally make plays)

The key play was that throw they made on 3rd down right before we kicked the FG.

It was 3rd and 2, you gotta run the ball there to force them to use their timeouts. If we convert we can run the clock down and we're already in range.

I'm putting more blame on the defense, the 3 picks were nice, but there were a lot of missed tackles and guys left wide open.

Crowell killed us on cut back runs. Good thing is Trufant without a doubt can ball. He's being asked to do a lot with our ****ty defense.

Yeah our run defense had a particularly bad day today.

That's why I give the defense only so
Little fault. We give them nothing to work with and at least they make plays. Sure they suck but on a lb 4 lb $ for $ judgment, they way outperform our prima Donna yet pedestrian offense. 24 pts? That's our best performance in months ain't it?

Not to mention the offense put the defense in some horrendous situations today via turnovers. Good thing the d stepped up to stop for just field goals.

Our d sucks but you'd expect it to suck. Our offense is almost as bad, go ahead and put it all on the offensive line if it makes you feel better

Roddy is over the slow pace. He chirped up after the game today. Ryan whenever he runs the no huddle moves the ball and Koetter has all but cut it out of the offense.... why???? It also neutralizes a defense and limits their options on play calling a bit which could help any weaknesses in the OL as well.

Another good win today, even with some more questionable clock management.

Julio Jones is firmly a top-5 WR in the NFL, had a career day on Patrick Peterson.

Unfortunately the Saints won also, so we're still tied for first. But if they can beat the Steelers, we can too.

And we'll need to, because even I can't see us going into Lambeau and getting a W.

Looks like the season will probably come down to the game in New Orleans.

So if we win week 16 and 17, we win the division no matter what, is that right?

I think that's correct, because if we lose in Lambeau and lose to the Steelers next week, but win 16 and 17, then we finish 7-9.

If the Saints win out except for vs us in week 16, then they also finish 7-9 but lose on head to head vs us.

I take this back. The entire media is completely writing us off for this game, this could be a trap game for the Packers after beating the Patriots.

Falcons gonna SHOCK THE WORLD on Monday night
