I think it's already down to 4.

It ought to be a great game. If it comes down to which QB is greater, I'm taking Matty Ice.

It was a fantastic win over the Saints, but the defense has to get better on 3rd down, and we have to get a pass rush from somebody.

Lamar Holmes is not a starting tackle in the NFL

Defense got zero pass rush and looked bad on several big plays.

Quick turnaround and then we get the Buccs on Thursday night

We had few chances to make a play and we never were able to cash in on any of them. Bengals came up with the goods more often than not.

1-1 seemes likely and respectable over first 2 games. Bucs, Vikes, Giants next 3 on paper is ideal.

Zero sacks through 2 games

that's a problem

That half of football is the upside of this team. Some things I liked:

- Kemal Ishmael with the pick-6. Then Dwight Lowery with a fumble recovery. I dunno how this affects the FS timeshare, but it's nice to see both of them playing well

- Paul Worrilow, who leads the NFL in tackles, is an asset. I was a little worried when the plan at the start of the year was to start two undrafted rookies who just showed promise last year. But he's a very sure tackler and that's really important for a defense. Carolina has Kuechly, Tampa has Lavonte David, and we have Paul Worrilow

- HESTER! He's looking like a legit offensive weapon, and had a huge day on special teams. That fumble re-fumble sequence was big, too.

- Ok, Matt Ryan and Julio Jones have gotten their fantasy numbers. Time to see what Sean Renfree and Tyler Yates have in the 2nd half, since we're carrying both their roster spots

I don't think I've ever seen an NFL game where one team just completely and repeatedly slits its own throat like this.

I've seen mismatches this hilarious in college, but not in the NFL

Worrilow might not be much in coverage but that dude gets after the football

ok, time to tank. I have no idea who to tank for, though. This team just has so many holes. Cya Dimitroff

Mike Smith going to be gone long before Dimitroff is.TD isn't the main problem, we really don't have a head coach under staff. He didn't even come across as a HC during the entire season of Hard Knocks. Joe Flacco stole our SB, that was the Falcons to win, 10 ****ing yards and the window slams shut just like that.

**** **** **** **** ****! And Roddy can't catch a pass anymore, reverted back to when he first came in the league and dropped every other ball thrown his way. No TE to speak of, our staff doesn't know which RB to play hardly ever.

Spoon out doesn't help but he won't solve all those holes on defense and for **** sake can we get a pass rush from anywhere, anyone? A pass rush alone would help a lot of these holes but you're asking a defense to cover guys non stop on pass plays and it wears you down. Can't stop the run, **** wtf can they do?

SO MUCH ANGER!

All. Those. Drops.

Gave me flashbacks to the Falcons of the mid-2000's.

The Bears WR's just looked bigger, faster, and stronger than all our DB's, they got manhandled and it took at least 3 guys to tackle Martellus Bennett every time he got the ball.

Jake Matthews and Gabe Carimi got their lunches eaten all day by Jared Allen and company.

Matt Ryan tried to get poor Roddy White killed over the middle. Roddy heard footsteps and had some drops, and even when he makes a completion, he's too willing to give himself up and not go for YAC like he did when he was younger.

I admit I'm irrational and it's a long shot, but I'm not ready to give up the division yet. We're 2-0 in division with both games with the Panthers left.

I think Dimitroff's job security hinges on the draft picks for depth that he's made among LB's and DL. Guys like Malliciah Goodman, Stansly Maponga, Jonathan Massaquioa, etc. They've shown flashes but I think it's fair to say now that they're all behind schedule in their development.

Too soon to tell with the current draft class, but hey Rashede Hageman blocked a PAT for the first time in 11 years for us, so that was cool.

And I can't decide whom I love more: Antone Smith or Todd Gurley

Well, with the big bodies up front, that's where the pass rush has to come from, and we haven't gotten it with any consistency this year

we're tough alright.

tough to watch

seriously though i'm sick of hearing how its the defenses fault (not on 2p2 but on sports radio and friends etc). it's like having 2 kids, 1 who rides the short bus and the other is has honors student smarts. and hte short bus kid gives full effort while the smart kid doesn't give a **** and gets mediocre grades. our offense is that smart kid, we should expect more out of them. zero resources are given to our short bus defense, and people act surprised when they suck. they've been programmed to suck, it's been our formula in building this team. blame the coaches and front office for that.

our offense just put up 13 pts at home. too bad the d couldnt hold to 12 or less, huh? GT fans do the same thing, blame anyone but paul johnson for everything

We're just not very good.

Awful on 3rd down both sides of the ball.

5 more sacks, down to our 3rd center.

We look to be at least 2.5 or 3 drafts away from contending for anything.

ATL up 21, 1:20 left on their own 20, DET defense is struggling and Ryan is 14-17 for 160

Mike Smith decides to call it a first half

IM SO SICK OF HAVING A STUPID PERSON FOR A HEAD COACH

rooting for ATL to lose by 1 score and I never watch this team again until Smith gets fired
