Yes he could provide much needed help. They still need to address that line. As is, even with Matthews, that line is not NFL quality. Konz is not NFL caliber starter and barely worthy to backup.
And it's a crying shame it was just a afterthought last season. The line is where the game is won or lost and men of Dimitroff and Smith's experience should know better. Hell even Blank knows as witnessed by his disagreement with Smith over being "tough", especially on the line. Still work to be done on the OL, at least now they're addressing it.
And just cut Jackson already. Waste of money and roster spot.
