**** Glavine. Bailed on the Braves for negligible salary difference, and now filing a grievance over not making the team when he can't hit 80. He was never a Brave, he was a union employee.

HR to Braun after another Escobar error, but Tommy recovered after that.

most dominating 7 run start ever?

i really liked what i saw. He just left a couple fastballs over the plate and the Brewers didn't miss. When he's locating he's pretty much unhittable.

i like the red headed guy and jim powell

Echoing sentiments that I can't contain my enthusiasm for Tommy Hanson.

He missed his spots with a couple fastballs to a pretty good hitter, but there's a lot that's positive to take away from this debut.

And I also like Boog and Simpson, I think they make a great team.

Made it down to the game last night. The Braves are 0-4 in games I have attended this year.

Scalped tickets right behind the Pirates dugout for $30 each. Not bad, probably could have talked him down a little more but whatever.

Pretty boring game in all. Lots of balls that looked hit hard that died on or near the warning track. The McCann HR that was just a double was fun. First review I have seen live. They never showed a replay in the stadium though, I guess to keep the crowd calm? The play where Craig Monroe scored was crazy. Dude never even thought of slowing down.

Highlight of the night was my wife getting picked to do the MasterCard trivia thing in the middle of the 4th. The question was "How much did the Roberto Clemente bridge cost when it was built in 1928?" Multiple choice, answer was $1.5 million which she got right. Gift card to Wildfire restaurant and some Braves swag.

Quit going please!

$30 for those seats is good. I need to talk to that scalper. Nice score on the swag and gift card too.

In fact, newly arrived — he just got here at 12:30 p.m. – Barbaro Canizares might possibly be one of the worst defensive players the Braves have had on their major league roster in quite some time, based on what I’ve heard of the 29-year-old Cuban rookie first baseman
”I heard he can’t run, can’t throw and can’t field, but the sumbitch can hit,” is what one Braves player told me this morning.

Kelly Johnson seems to be running really bad given his absurdly low BABIP this year.

I still don't understand why they signed anderson, glavine (who they just cut anyway), kenshin instead of going after a batter >

They're going to trade Escobar either before the trade deadline or after the season since Bobby Cox seems to hate him basically. Of course, heaven forbid we just get rid of Cox instead....

Trading Francoeur for a bucket of slightly used baseballs would be a win for us right now.

I love Bobby but we need new blood at the helm. Preferably someone who has a pulse and can energize the team. But of course he isn't going anywhere.

Trading Yunel would be so ****ing ******ed..like if that happens and the organization gives the SS position to Hernandez i'm gonna kill myself.

Frenchy needs to be gone..like yesterday.

LET'S GO KELLY JOHNSON!!!

edit: failure obv

edit2: seriously escobar and diaz should be starting every day. The only reason johnson and frankie should be playing is to get traded. Once players get relegated to the bench it seems like no one trades for them. At least the braves scored more than 2 runs though

How about Tommy Hanson today. A win, zero runs allowed, and his first major league RBI. And the Braves actually scored today.

Big two weeks for the Braves coming up. 13 games (6 vs Sox, 3 vs Yanks, 1 vs Cubs, 3 vs Phils). This stretch has the potential to really kill the season if it goes bad.

Kawakami with 6 innings of very solid pitching tonight.

Roughed up Dice-K.

Garrett Anderson even going 3 for 3 with 3 RBI's.

Whats happening in the world? lol

It's so sick what the offense does when Escobar and Diaz are playing

Good inning from Soriano
