I know the Astros bet is a waste of money, but I love the fact that they're projected to be 300-1 on some online sites I've seen, essentially throwing down $5 for the chance to win $1500, plus it makes me care about another team this season besides just the Braves.
So my question to you guys is, what casino in vegas will I find the best odds for placing these bets? I doubt I'll find too much better than 18-1 on the Braves and googling around it seems I might get 100-1 on the Astros, but aside from calling all the sportsbooks in Vegas how do I find the one that's laying the best odds?
Yeah don't bet on the Astros. I like rooting for a longshot more than anyone, but betting on the Astros is lighting money on fire.
If you want that longshot sweat I'd bet on a team like the Indians. They at least have a chance to get into the playoffs if the Tigers have a few injuries.
The Astros are literally built to get the worst record. That is their goal and they will be managed accordingly.
As far what book will have the best odds, it will probably be very similar wherever you go. I'm not sure they'll all have MLB futures up, but most of the big ones would.
I'd just go to Caesars, Aria, Bellagio, etc. The bigger places will be fine.
