whatever. against a RHP i'd rather see francisco at 3rd and prado in LF but if it's ****ing up prado moving him around then meh

I don't love the decision to stretch Medlen out but it's better than nothing. Problem is it's gonna take a few weeks for Medlen to be ready..which means 3+ starts for Minor and Delgado. And it's going to increase the workload for everyone else in the pen. Andddd i'm not exactly comfortable doing this to Medlen when he's coming off tommy john.

I wish they would have left him in the pen and called up Redmond. Or call Redmond up now in addition to Medlen and have him take Minor's starts til Medlen is ready. And then decide between Redmond and Delgado who gets sent down.

seriously where the **** is simmons? this is starting to make me angry. Wren i think you're solid but jfc dude

Wow, huge news, Halladay out 6-8 weeks. 4 games back, all it would take was one little run and the Phils could start feeling like the big dogs again, but now its starting to look like it may be possible that their window is closing. Still alot of talent on that roster tho, and two wild cards........

i like how Fredi is getting all this credit for calling a team meeting and then going out and beating STL...even though nothing changed like at all. we were still outplayed we just lucksacked a win out of it this time.

Please please please Freeman be ok now with your goggles.

Any update on Ross? is he going on the DL or what?

Don't understand this eye stuff, McCann now Freeman. How long does it take to pop some lenses into sports glasses and give it to them, no eye doctors in ATL that can get it same day for them? And why don't you already have back-up glasses that you can comfortably play with? Remember playing w/ glasses in Little League, and that was 20 years ago FFS.

yea another blow for them. They'll definitely make a run when people start getting healthy but hopefully they'll be too far behind to catch up.

I really don't see the Nats slowing down much with that pitching. Morse and eventually Werth will add some more firepower to that lineup too. Even if they shutdown Strasburger late in the season meh i don't know.

My prediction is the Nats run away with the division and we fight it out with Miami, Philly, Cin, SF for the wild card spots

I don't really understand it either. I guess his eyes are so dry there are scratches and **** and he's getting blurred vision. And it's making wearing contacts uncomfortable. That's why he's having so much trouble getting the right **** i think because his prescription keeps changing depending on how his eyes are healing. And he didn't like the glasses because the frames were getting in the way when he was hitting. So he's getting goggles. But i'm sure those will be ****ed up too somehow.

Basically i think we're just gonna have to wait til his eyes heal completely and he goes back to contacts before he's totally back. But maybe he'll like the goggles..probably not though.

It's ridic that we've had 2 key players suffer from this **** while i can't remember hearing of anyone else on the other teams going through it
