Yea I totally agree with having a blind eye towards the contracts and just doing what's best for the team. I just think it benefits the team more by moving Medlen back to the bullpen knowing he can switch back and forth as needed. I also think that having a quality long relief guy is being very underrated. Who knows how KK would respond to being moved to the bullpen...if he doesn't do well then the Braves would be in a tough spot.
Also remember that KK had a tough start to last season also but turned it around and was very solid the rest of the season. No reason to expect anything different this time around imo.
Medlen has pitched great but he's still only had like 6-7 starts this year and 11-12 in his career. I'd just rather go with the safer choice right now. It feels like Medlen is due to implode any day now lol.
meh ok i just looked at the numbers some more and Medlen does seem to have improved a lot from last year..maybe he isn't due for such a huge drop off.. Whatever we should be ok either way
