Double plays are a lot more fun when they are going the other way.

wow biggg out with utley/howard comin up

ugh the bullpen is getting a little overworked lately. I really didn't like using wagner last night cuz he had worked 3 outta 4 now 4 outta 5 and I seriously doubt he's available tonight. Saito has pitched last 2 i think? Moylan pitches every day it seems. We need to use Chavez/Venters more.

When Jurrjens gets healthy, we'll have Medlen back in the pen, and he's a great option to go an inning + in these spots.

Man when Chipper, Escobar and Jurrjens get going we're going to be a mother****er to deal with, the only people that have to come back down to Earth are Prado, Heyward, and Hudson.

I'm banking on us getting a hell of a lot more production out of the 3 big under-producers than we're going to be giving up from the 3 big over-producers when things even out over the season.

I think our biggest worry is Philly. That team is loaded with offense and they're just in a slump right now. This should be an exciting divisional battle this summer.

lol the Phils have sucked the last couple weeks but we're still the 2 best teams in the division and it's not close.

GLAUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Philly has so many streaky hitters, and this is probably the absolute worst variance they can experience, but I'm sure there will be a 20-25 game stretch this season where they seem unbeatable and can score at will.

I hope no Braves fans are counting them out based off this month, they still have a ton of talent.

It's actually really close. The whole division is pretty bad as a whole (bad is probably not fair, but mediocre) and the team that makes the best deadline deals to help strengthen weak spots on their roster will win the division.

I totally disagree. I think the close records indicate a good division not a bad one...at least right now. There's no way the nats or muts will be able to keep it up. The marlins are somewhere in between nats/muts and braves/phils.

Braves and Phils are gonna run away from the rest imo

It feels like forever since the Braves have been in 1st place as late as June.

As a Braves fan in his mid-20's, I didn't even think anything else was possible for the majority of my life.

Maybe it's the last few years of mediocrity, or the young enthusiasm on this team, but I don't think I've been this excited about a Braves team since 1991.

Definitely. It's still basically the same team that was easily one of the most grueling lineups in MLB last year.

Either way, ship the NL East lead down to ATL!

Same here..except I don't remember the 91 season. The start of this season reminds of a lot of when Francouer was called up and all the Baby Braves stuff. But this team is so much better than that team was.
