Huge day yesterday for the Braves--extending the win streak while the Phillies and Marlins both lose. We're now solidly in second in the East and one of the hottest teams in the MLB. Wish I could have watched it.
Now if Medlen can hold on for the sweep we'll be in a great spot.

Every time we get a win with Lowe on the mound it's such a huge relief. God he's awful.

Damn Heyward has a sore thumb and is out of the lineup, hopefully it isn't serious.
It's going to be tough with Heyward, Chipper and McCann all out.
Medlen has been impressive, it's going to suck when he has to go back to the bullpen while Kawakami and Lowe keep their spots in the rotation.

Tough loss today, I like our chances in the series against FLA.
We have Hanson vs. Robertson and Hudson Vs. Nolasco.
If Heyward is back (nice time for an off-day) for the series, I think we should take 2/3.

To win that game with everyone out would of been epic...but i'm fine taking the loss in order to give the backups some AB's and the regs some time to recharge their batteries.
I expect us to come out and play really well on Tuesday. We really need to go 4-2 or 5-1 next 2 series cuz we got Philly, @LAD, @ARZ, @MIN, TB comin up. But then after that we really don't have any tough stretches the rest of the way.
I'm gonna try and keep from being too optimistic cuz the last couple years the Braves have been so inconsistent but it's tough not to get excited right now.

Yeah that would have been such a sweet win coming into the off-day. We had our 6th starter on the mound, and our #2 ,3 and 4 hitters on the bench. I love how we're playing right now, I feel like we can win any game (the opposite of last year).
That's a nightmare stretch, and we might be lucky to come out of break-even. Winning 4/5 games against FLA/PIT is a good possibility if we stay hot, and would look great going into those tough series'.
WTF don't go soft on me now! We're playing great, and as 2 of the eternal optimists on here it's our job to keep it up during the bad times, but we can't slack off when things are going good.
