I do think Chipper needs to maybe move down lineup some when he comes back. Anyone else? thoughts?

My biggest gripe with Chipper the last couple of years has been his insistence on playing through injuries. Its hard to measure exactly how much, but he kills the team on defense when he is standing out there barely able to move. Hope Chipper is straight up with Bobby this year and doesn't try to go out there when he is less than 100%.

I'd be happy with 80-90% tbh. But yea especially with Hinske/Conrad beasting and Escobar coming back we're deep enough to handle Chipper taking a few games off when he needs to.

Hanson and Hudson need to step it up this weekend, and make sure that today is the last day of this season that we spend under .500.

I love the new top of the batting order, all of those guys get on base a lot, so the middle of the lineup should get plenty of RBI opportunities.

Just one of those games. Seems like we were hitting the ball a helluva harder than ARZ til the 9th but they just weren't fallin. Big one tomorrow..losing 2 outta 3 to ARZ would be really deflating.

Trading Vazquez and keeping Hudson on a leap of health faith, trading no speed and no ability to lay off a pitch idiot Francouer and opening up RF for a real OF like Heyward the following year=2 of the best moves of the Frank Wren GM era. He still sucks though. Good to see the bats coming alive

Hudson pitched great today!

We just need the bats to give us consistent production, and our pitching should keep us in a ton of games.

We can make up a lot of ground over the next couple weeks if we can put together some win streaks, the upcoming schedule looks pretty damn good.

Seems like a repeat of last season tbh...except this year it looks like the turnaround is happening a month or two earlier. Bodes well for us.

Hinske seems to have kick started the offense. Keep him as the everyday LFer. Melky is overrated and now Diaz is out a few weeks now. Weird how it takes something bad to discover something good like this.

Once Jair gets back and back to form the Braves should make a good run at the wildcard spot at least.

Doubt it's possible to run worse than us in 1 run games over the last 200 games.

A Diaz/Hinske platoon sounds awesome in left.

When Jurrjens gets healthy we'd better start running off some win streaks or this season could get away from us before we know it.
