Well, there is a more complicated process to "magic number" then normal considering we are fighting to be in the top 2 of 3 teams than just being best out of 2. So there is a different dynamic involved.

Yeah, not to mention it's impossible for the Padres and Giants to have a winning record in their final 3 games b/c they play each other. Looking great right now, win tmrw and I'll feel REALLY good.

You are sort of over analyzing his statement. The magic number is 4. We win four and we are in no doubt. We win 3 and the Pads lose 1 we are in. I see your point Anger, but by true def the magic number is 4.

At the stadium it's hard to tell, but did it seem on TV like Huddy was pitching okay yesterday? The box score makes it look at lot worse than it looked in person. A ridiculous number of guys reached on infield hits and other weird stuff.

woot going to the game friday with 5 friends ...getting there early for drunkaments!

has anybody heard any changes to the blue lot? I heard somewhere that you can no longer just pull up and pay $10/$12 anymore. Is this true? If so, I need to order a parking pass

it depends on what kind of crowd they anticipate. a couple of bigger games this year they've made all the colored lots permit only. i assume for all 3 phillies game all colored lots will be permit only

was at the game...big win. Lowe looked so good. Hated on him all year long then he just STEPS UP in September. I really can't believe how every time it feels like we are totally fcked in regards to injuries, underperformance, etc, someone just steps up and puts the team on their back for a week or two.
