regarding Prado..i was actually hoping he'd sit the Wash series. He's hurting the team right now especially being in the 3 hole imo. but it looks like he's gonna be out there the rest of the season so i hope he starts contributing but i'm not expecting much. he looks really banged up

yeah i think schaef posted that before the Reds/Pads game was over. It's .5 game back and the padres have 1 extra game than we do.

padres play cubs for 4 then @sf for the last 3
giants host arizona then padres

creates a weird dynamic with them playing each other the last 3 games.

Yeah, so what are we even rooting for? If they don't separate more before the final series, we root for a sweep by either team? If they do separate some the next 4 days (including today) then we root for the team that's ahead to sweep?

This. There is no reason that we shouldn't go 4-2 or better down the stretch with all of our remaining games at home. If we do that, we are pretty much in in the playoffs.
