agreed

marlon byrd would be nice, you think?

is he terrible on defense? somebody look up some nerd stats for me

although i'm getting very disillusioned with UZR or whatever and the huge sample size needed

He seriously insufferable.

Seems like a 1 hour rain delay might do us some good here. If nothing else we're less likely to see another inning out of Lowe.

I could tolerate him if he left out all his homer comments

maybe it was as long as we're not being results oriented. but i hate him now. he seems to not care. maybe he does care and is a great guy. but i don't care. johnny venters might be the only guy on the team with less accuracy, and lowe isn't a lefty throwing 97
I was so fuggin positive that he was a good signing at the time. I figured that type of pitcher would be perfect in ATL but looking back his walk rates were always too high and watching him for the last 2 years has been pretty damn frustrating. He seems scared to pitch to contact which is exactly what he needs to be doing.

2 more years...2 more ****ing years..

Would be nice to pull this out, so worst case scenario we will have some kind of division lead once we get back for the homestand. Our pitching should matchup pretty well vs Cincy regardless.

How crazy is it that a third of our payroll is gobbled up by Lowe, Kawakami, and McLouth, and we're still leading the division?

whats goin on with the rain?

Phillies got a good deal for Oswalt, would be pretty damaging if they didn't make a good run this year, hopefully we can prevent that

Wren is going to have a ton of options in a couple years.

Our prospects are looking great, and we have a very good young nucleus to build around.

We could be an impact player or 2 away from another epic run like the 90's, especially with Philly having a bunch of bad contracts on the books.

jeez, watching the gamecasts is nervewracking and awful

every time you see a break in the speed of the at bat, it usually means that contact was made and this makes the input of the event take longer. so you're basically left guessing based on how long the break has been what happened

i really hate day games...maybe if each team got somewhere between zero and two home weekday day games per season i would be happy. instead we have 6, and 2 more that start at 4PM

wrigley is the only exception...day games there are cool
