Big back to back homeruns last night to get a win, and we have Houston this weekend, which is always good for what ails you. Sweep this weekend and hopefully get to 4 or less games out.
I was in the car for the tail end of the 5th and the guy doing the game on the radio said "Corbin is the 9th hitter this inning and the first out the Astros made, that is likely not the first time this year their fans have seen that."
I am so confused with the dbacks this off season.. I dont mind the Bauer move, but the cody ross signing is a head scratcher. We have to wait and see what happens with the outfield to really judge it, but I think Kubel>Ross and of course upton>Ross, so if we move one of them for just prospects, it's not looking good for a shot at the West this year.
Yep, move CY to make room for Eaton makes sense. But then sign Ross??? And also the bullpen moves seem odd, especially the one made during the season getting rid of a lefty for an almost identical righty who just gets paid slightly less.
Good start to the year. Enjoyable team to watch so far.
My wife and I cancelled cable and bought mlb.tv, so we are watching the games usually a day late. But I find it hard to not follow along online so yeah.
Definitely a nice start. Granted, the Brewers were running a AAA team out there with their injuries, but you'll take a sweep on the road any time you can get it. Gallardo always owns us, so it was nice to get one off him.
Can Cahill actually get a home win tonight is the question?
