A bit of bad news I found out last night regarding the upgrades.....Apparently season ticket holders get a better price than non season ticket holders. I talked to someone who went yesterday, and they had to pay ~24 for what I was getting for ~14. In my screenshots above, you'll see where it says "you're receiving 40% off". I assumed that was referring to the upgrade cost compared to the ticket value or something. It seems it means I get a 40% discount over the regular upgrade price. It wasn't always like that. Everyone got the same price, at least as far as I know. Takes some of the value out of it for sure.

That said, if it turns out I do make it to that game, we can work something out to where I can help you get a better price on the upgrades.

Also, the reason ticket cost doesn't affect upgrade cost is you're able to do upgrades before you even have a game ticket. In San Diego, we did the upgrade from a bar by the beach 2 hours before the game. Didn't have a game ticket till we got one at the stadium box office 20 minutes before first pitch. Now I'm curious how my pricing was there compared to Padres season ticket holders.


Edit: the 11:10 game on August 17 is in Houston. I 100% will not be at that game. I had the 12:40 home game on August 15 in mind. It's a 2 & 2 series.

We've run pretry bad this year with injuries. Wasn't long ago we had more middle infielders than we had room on the roster for. Now, between fingers/hands getting broken and relatives dying, things are looking pretty bleak.

And the Dodgers just get better even if we win the Wild Card game.

Probably not any more than a prime Saturday night vs Cubs or Dodgers. Especially with it being a Wednesday.

I don't expect my tickets to be much more than 20-25 each. I may, if prices aren't crazy, try to find some real good seats down low as opposed to my section 330 tickets I'll be given.

I would imagine I'll be going with the wife that day, and to any playoff games we happen to host, but I'll definitely be down for meeting up with any of you guys that are there.....whether inside during the game, or somewhere outside the stadium for some pregaming.

This is a lot more fun than last year. They should be good more often.

I am attending the game on Sunday. If we get the win streak to 15, expect it to end there.

If that happens, I might refuse Wild Card game tickets even if they are free.

I'll be there tonight, tomorrow, and Tuesday, but skipping Sunday to watch football at the bar then a concert that night.

I think I have tickets to every non matinee game the rest of the season, many of which will go unused. If there's a weekday game you, or anyone else, can make it to, let me know and I can probably transfer you some tickets to get in, or even go with you.
