You've gotta think Blanco gets a start in this Colorado series. Montero was a huge surprise last year, and a big reason the middle of the lineup did so well. Without him, its a huge hole and wasted runs with CY hitting well behind them

The ABs in the first inning were incredible.
3 walks coaxed from 1-2 counts and then a huge 2 strike single from Goldschmidt.

No surprises with Collmenter obv. Nice to see them coming back nicely after the delay! Nice to see Johnny Mac stepping up. Huge fan from his time in the Jays and now with the dbacks. impossible not to like the guy.
Horrible cut off attempt by Parra there. Not the way to stay in the lineup bro.

Love what Miley's been giving us so far. Owings was huge in that role last year and he's picked up nicely. Gibby has been pretty stubborn about Collmenter all through spring, but gotta think Miley has a good chance of taking his spot when Saito comes off the DL.

Glad to see they salvaged the series at least, avoiding the sweep. Have to start winning some games to keep pace of the dodgers. Hate to say it, but the dodgers look for real.

Glad to see Kershaw struggle yesterday against the Padres.
Kemp and Ethier have to come down to reality somewhat. Not super worried yet about the LA-D

CY just mashing the ball, makes a great play in the field and hurts his shoulder. Just figures. Unreal.

Any prognosis yet?

Not yet. They did show him lift it over his head once which was a pretty good sign and it didn't look totally limp like it usually does with a separation.

Do you know why dback home games start at :40 after the hour? I thought it was just something about 7:40, but I notice tmrw's game starts at 12:40. I don't know of any other north american pro team that has a permanent "odd" start time like that, so curious about the reason behind that.
