If you count the last couple months of last season, he's been pretty awful.
I'm more concerned with why Zeigler wasn't in the game with bases loaded and 1 out in the 9th.

I hate admitting this, but besides Ahmed, there's no one I hate seeing at the plate right now more than Goldy. He's completely lost and it's hard to watch. Can't drive the ball. Can't move runners over. Hell, often, he can't even make contact.

This puts me in a tough spot. I really enjoy going to the ballpark as much as possible, but when this is the product that I'm paying to watch, what's the point? At least when watching on tv or online I can just cut it off after 3-4 innings and go do something else. Something that doesn't make me want to gouge my eyes out.

What little chance the team had of turning this season around go completely eliminated in this series against the Rays. Time to start dumping players and looking towards 2017.
