Agreed. I never liked Gibson because I felt that anyone watching was more likely to make better decisions than he did. I haven't thought that yet with Chip. I also started collecting baseball cards in 1990 and somehow he is more ingrained in my head than he deserves based on his playing career.

I'm torn on who I want as an every day player, Peralta or Inciarte. I'm leaning Inciarte. But I like that all 4 of them are getting lots of ABs.....Pollock and Trumbo being the other 2 ldo.

Trumbo/Peralta righty/lefty split makes sense. Might want to play Trumbo against pitchers with high flyball%s as well.

Pollock/Inciarte should be pretty much penciled in.

No idea why I'm so high on Trumbo but I feel he needs to be in there every night.

Another starter made it through 6 innings....how about that? Though I do like that we have a few guys in the bullpen who were competing for starting jobs. Nice knowing they can go a few innings when needed.

Did he even do anything in the minors? Seems strange to do it that quickly when it isn't a contract reason like the drafted players.

Without having looked, I am trying to guess who got demoted. Must be the 3rd catcher, whats his name. Starts with a P.

Edit 1: Oh, it was a reliever we hardly used.

Edit 2: Wow, I must not be paying close attention. Pacheco has played in 5 of our 8 games? All as pinch hits or defensive replacements? Just looked it up, 3 pinch hits and two double switches.

Edit 3: Wow, I'm not paying attention. Didn't know Laird was on 15 day DL.

The pitcher sent down to make room for Tomas just got called up when Laird went on the DL. He didn't look very good Sunday. I think I saw Tomas hit a staggering .190 at Reno. Not real encouraging.

And yeah, the bobblehead is yours.

Edit: Pacheco will probably get a lot of playing time....mostly at catcher but I think he plays everywhere on the infield. I wonder if Laird is really hurt or if it was realized he's not needed right now.
