Does it really matter if he took the money or not?

To me, and Im guessing everybody else, nobody will be comfortable with him being escrow again. But it seems he is getting more **** than people who run away with the money and dont even pay back.

He ****ed up (doesnt matter if it was somebody else on the Paypal account, the money is his responsibility), he paid back. End of story imo.

I know I said I wouldn't post in here but just wanted to update the only league money that hasn't been paid out yet is I owe a few hundred to precept and he asked to be paid after the sidebets and 2nd place in the 1500 is owed 5k. Klink held that money and asked me to have the winner contact him directly. Everything else should be paid mid next week hopefully

Got an email from PayPal saying the payment (girl, name removed) sent me in January is being reversed because she doesn't recognize me.

No one is getting rolled. There was an issue with the credit card and ten credit card company reversed them. Hoping to have it fixed tomorrow. I had no clue until tron pm'd me. I'm not sure how just your two payments got reversed either.

Nope there's a credit card issue and this screwed me too. The pp account is limited and I finally got paid from a fantasy league from 3 years ago yesterday and I can't cash it out until this is fixed . Hopefully tomorow tho

I'm being asked to dispute a chargeback. I'm looking right at the screen.

Reason for Dispute: Unauthorized payment

April 9th: Phone call with buyer
April 9th: email to seller (me)
April 9th: chargeback initiated

I have 9 days to refute it, or accept liability.

Based on everything I've seen, all I can do is accept liability.

Incidentally for any *real* scammers (because I don't think Wesrwood is more than a victim of being a bit lazy and careless), paying fantasy money via paypal is potentially the ultimate scam.

Step 1: host a $1000 league
Step 2: pay out via paypal, where effectively you have no "shipping" receipt to even dispute a chargeback when you're presented with the chance to.
Step 3: initiate chargeback, scam fantasy football winner out of all the monies, plus the penalty associated with the chargeback.

It's pretty brilliant. Remind me to only use league safe on any league over say $100.

I just got more info on what happened.

I was confused. Apparently the credit cArd used to send the money originally also was used at target.

And target security was breached around Christmas time so I guess the credit card was breached too. Hopefully no more payments are sent back. If they are I will just resend them again using another card

k i accepted the chargeback liability. Issue closed, I got all the money.

I've mentioned to Wesrwood that I don't think he should escrow anymore, seems like he agrees. So we can all move on, nothing to see here.

I think its safe to lock this thread now. At this point, any more posts like Hockey Guys last one are just straight up trolling and theres no need for that.
All parties involved have stated that the issue is closed.

If anything else crops up in the future, and I dont see why it would to be honest, Im sure someone will open a new thread anyway. So. Let. It. Die.
