Smallwood doesn't need to have a lock on the job, whatever that means, to be relevant in PPR imo. If he gets the Sproles role + 8-10 carries, that's ~80 total yards and ~4/5 catches, which is a decent floor. Missing practice is the most concerning part.

Pick 1 RB 1.25 PPR

McKinnon @ CHI
Allen @ OAK
Theo vs CAR

Pretty sure its McKinnon.

Also, I have no way of getting Amendola in my lineup tonight, right:

3 WR/ 1 flex

Tyreek
Diggs
Keenan
Djax
Amendola
I could see Amendola>DJax, but just based on floor. DJax obviously has a much higher ceiling

Always think in these spots you play the guy on TNF as you can then adjust your other decisions depending on how it goes if you need variance or a high floor, which is why I'm leaning hogan on the ones I posted earlier

Have Philly in, but those TNF games are so ripe for terrible play and defensive TDs. Just need to be talked down.
As a rule of thumb, don't play a defense from the game with the highest total by Vegas.

Does gronk being out/limited give White a bump ahead of Johnson?

Re: Week 5 fantasy football sit/start

I don't think so; Johnson's role is more well-defined and seems to be increasing. It's never clear who the Patriots will feature in any given game.

I have my own Gronk question, though. Same league as the Brissett / Kizer question (because it's not enough to be down Luck, Tannehill, and David Johnson; now I'm possibly out Gronk as well):

My current plan has Gronk at TE and Cam Brate at one FLEX.

Do I keep that, or do I replace Gronk? W/T flex options include

Evan Engram v LAC
Marqise Lee @ PIT
Nelson Agholor v ARI
Eric Decker @ MIA
Chris Conley @ HOU

Engram I think is the best of some unfavorable options, so it really comes down to whether or not I should bench Gronk for him.

EDIT: Schefter now saying Gronk is NOT expected to play. So anyone make a case for rolling with someone besides Engram?

If Gronk is active i would have a hard time benching him for any of those guys.

Gronk out has to boost all other pass catchers. I would think Allen becomes relevant depending on who you have obviously.

My choice looks like ASJ, Cook, or Allen.

Starting to lean DA, even though he doesn't have a catch this year.

Who do you like as a flex here? Standard scoring...

Tate v Carolina
Crabtree v Bal (thinking that's a no with EJ Manuel starting)
Fitz @ Philly
Ellington @ Philly

Bye week issues this week.

1 PPR need 1 WR and 1 flex

Ty Williams @ NYG
R. Mathews @ MIA
Mixon vs. BUF
L. Murray @ CHI

Right now I'm leaning Mixon and Mathews, assuming Mariota starts.

I am trying to trade for Dola everywhere! Dude is gonna avg 8-10 targets ROS, as long as he is healthy of course

I am benching Witten for ASJ easily. I see no reason why he does not have 5-6 catches. McCown is out for revenge vs the Brownies also.....

hmm, Buffalo run D is no slouch and Mixon is still splitting a fair bit. I'm thinking if you like Mathews already, Ty Williams is the other.

No PPR, choose 3. Leans are Howard, Miller, and Murray.
