Smallwood doesn't need to have a lock on the job, whatever that means, to be relevant in PPR imo. If he gets the Sproles role + 8-10 carries, that's ~80 total yards and ~4/5 catches, which is a decent floor. Missing practice is the most concerning part.

I could see Amendola>DJax, but just based on floor. DJax obviously has a much higher ceiling

I think I'd still roll with Cooper

Always think in these spots you play the guy on TNF as you can then adjust your other decisions depending on how it goes if you need variance or a high floor, which is why I'm leaning hogan on the ones I posted earlier

As a rule of thumb, don't play a defense from the game with the highest total by Vegas.

Does gronk being out/limited give White a bump ahead of Johnson?

I don't think so; Johnson's role is more well-defined and seems to be increasing. It's never clear who the Patriots will feature in any given game.

I have my own Gronk question, though. Same league as the Brissett / Kizer question (because it's not enough to be down Luck, Tannehill, and David Johnson; now I'm possibly out Gronk as well):

Engram I think is the best of some unfavorable options, so it really comes down to whether or not I should bench Gronk for him.

EDIT: Schefter now saying Gronk is NOT expected to play. So anyone make a case for rolling with someone besides Engram?

If Gronk is active i would have a hard time benching him for any of those guys.
