Slates where all the good teams are home are generally bad. Fish don't get punished for picking popular plays as badly as often they are the optimal ones. Also slates where there aren't a lot of "top" teams are bad since fish back themselves into good plays because they didn't have other options. It's super easy to get Aguero and he's clearly a good play. Less variation in picks means more variance as it comes down to less players you have unique.

Fun tip: if there are early slates if there's no great plays in the first game it's super profitable to play the skate and fade that game. Ppl generally have wayyy to much exposure to the early game even if it's a bad game.

I feel like this should be true but in this weeks eggball I loaded up a bunch of 50/50's on Thursday and like 95% of the ppl faded the Thurs game. go figure.

yeah either targett and darmian were in all of my teams and i had benteke in cash (which i hated to begin with). i hated all striker plays today essentially. kane good but too expensive. benteke too inconsistent/boom-bust, sturridge i thought would get subbed for sure. even forward-cum-fullback brady was a bad play today with jarvis in front of him. sonny was probably the pick of the bunch and i contrived to not have him to accommodate other selections. and i got scared off alli since he was playing deeper, but he was basically as involved as ever. tadic was a fist pump play but he was anonymous. the one gpp lineup i had martial and mata stacked in i decided to change before the late games. i'm just amazed i didn't lose more (thanks moreno).
