Same reason Mon do goal has a gbp and a USD side. I don't think UK players can play with us players, but us players can play with uk.

I have like $50 left in Mondogoal which is overall really awful, but rather than withdraw might as well spend it. I don't know what their scoring is or how it differs from DK, which is all I really do. Can one of you experts critique this lineup for this weekend and tell me what I'm doing wrong in terms of players that might be attractive for DK but maybe not so for Mondo?

Made a bunch of teams for MongoGoal £10k. Submitted for all of them to be entered, but only 10 were. Tried again, and 20 more were entered rather than the full number. Reply from support: "We are started working this past week on some major overhauls to prevent issues like this from happening and they should be ready in time for next week."

Withdrew the rest of my funds and now my balance is sat way in the minus figures. Won't use them again.

Ya I went gomis/cress for early slate and ayew/jenko for late to hedge. Crushed early slate got killed late for a small profit.

had Bakary Sakho in one lineup which really helped me. I wish I had Callum Wilson also. Bourenmouth were the contrarian pick of the week.

I really didn't like this slate. So many of the chalk plays were highly owned. Slates where you can just pickem are generally super high variance if the higher cost players are gen good plays (mahrez/gomis for ex). No edge to be gained by finding low owned value gems to afford the luxury high production picks.

^ Is Gomis really that much of a lock? Last year his floor was only so-so and he was playing away. Seems like everyone but me picked him lol so maybe I'm the fish here.

But again tbf he takes the penalties and in a 4231 he's the one getting served on a platter

No, not imo. You are correct. He is a boom/bust player. He has to score or he is a huge flop cuz he doesn't do anything else. Look at last week. 1 shot, 1 goal. Nothing else. I am still trying to decide if I like him or Ayew better in general. Need more data and to watch them a few more times.

Gomis on Pks really helps his case. Ayew has a better floor in general though. Fouls shots and crosses maketh good fantasy player. Gomis doesn't really get crosses but does get fouls and shots.

The problem is we have none of the big names/teams on Sat slates. Tomorrow on the other hand pricing is super tight because we have all the big teams and value players are few and far between.

I dunno, personally I have found the 2 game slates (usually MLS) to be my best setup for the 50/50's. Small sample though.

I have no idea why or how, but I always crush the 2/3 game slates. It has to be variance. At some point it is just clicking buttons and any monkey can do it.
