Usually they update quicker and better than dk. Imagine it's just a bit buggy due to their site updates.

It has a ton of faults but it's +ev and they generally listen to player suggestions for improvement. I give them the benefit of the doubt.

Looks like they fixed the buggy scores in that tournament, and Fabregas no longer has 0 points. Still no clean sheet credited for Darmian though.

Agree with the bugs. Darmian is showing as not having a clean sheet and when I looked earlier and Cesc is showing as having 0 stats at all. Were the Saturday only tournaments paid out yesterday? Were they paid on false stats?

Seems a bit of a shame and I agree it takes away a bit of the fun of sweating.

One thing i have learned in my first week playing is how important it is to get 11 players on the pitch! Even if you check the predicted line ups taking into account the likelihood of a player starting seems to be a huge factor.

My win of the week was having Wijnaldum in the vast majority of my teams, however I will do well to break-even so not a great start!

Definitely true about having 11 players on the pitch - even players who don't really do much meaningful in the game can pick up 4-5 points it seems. I think that was more difficult than usual this week though with it being the first game of the season, and most of the players in my teams who did miss out (Bellerin/Baines/Mings) were legitimate surprises that I never could have predicted. The only one I'm annoyed at myself for was Hennessey. Nobody really knew for sure who would start in goal for Palace, so I should have just picked someone else for that team. It is my highest scoring team and currently 8th in the £10k gtd (no players left to play so can only go down), but a playing keeper might have seen that team in the top 5.

Yes picking nailed on starters is massive. People take too many risks with no late swap and i profited a lot off making sure i picked players who started vs taking slight risks.

Dk have just signed a sponsorship deal with the MLS. They will probably try to increase the size of mls gpps even at a cost. It was a massive overlay for a 2 game slate.

Yeah, my roi in MLS has been pretty great. Managed to win all my 50/50s this week despite not having a starting gk. Gotta decide how to split my time between MLS and EPL now. Don't really have time to do both well.

Also just realized that regs like poopdollarz and ibasso have like 30+ lineups in the $3 Sunday MLS tournament. There's no way that can be +ev paying rake on that many entries in small field, small slate tournies.

Rough weekend for me, just really tough to get nailed on lineups. Plus a lot of big name players underperformed. #FishAlert

Was sweating a Stoke clean sheet pretty hard but Coutinho had to ruin the party..

Had Jerome in a lot of lineups in the 10K as well, pretty bad decision to disallow his goal but whatever.

+1 to still feeling like a fish in terms of team selection, but if they have the kind of overlay they had in that 10k every week, then should be beatable without even having to be very skillful. I'm assuming that kind of overlay was a bit of a one-off though, so going to try to improve.

I just took a scattergun approach this weekend seeing how much overlay was available. Invested £100 in the Sunday one and cashed for £200 without any of my teams doing amazingly well - all those £5 and £10 cashes add up.

Regarding mass entry for the Sunday mls. It was because of overlay, I typically only do one lineup for mls and this is especially true for smaller slates. However for Sunday I thought there were a lot of good plays so there would be lower ownership overall on the luxury players so you could take your core cash lineup and mix in some differentials and not hurt yourself hedging. Sascha kjlestian is a perfect example as he was 7% owned so his performance didn't hurt in cash.

I think I had like 1.2k in entries , net profited like 2.3k. One cash lu and about 8 lus multi entered in the 2k and 3k tournies cause of overlay.

Gonna have to have a monstrous game from Sterling to save me from total washout this week. Also need to learn to wake up better on the weekends to check early game lineups or maybe just bypass those entirely

I did watch a couple MLS games last night but only get like 2-3 a week and I would definitely just be clicking buttons at this point.

Still not convinced 10%+ rake is beatable in these.

Ha good news about Toure although imo it was Silva who got the last touch so can't complain too much if it does change I guess.

I wasn't actually sweating Mondogoal tbh during the match because I was too engrossed in the game (am a City fan). Knew that I was on for a decent finish with that team but had pretty much written off my chance at the big money with a couple of 0 pointers in the lineup. Also didn't think the scores would be updating properly either during the match. Shame we actually defended well for a change, never seen Hart deal so well with crosses!

Grats silk!! Mls and Sunday slate made the weekend decent profitable for me after a pretty poor sat showing.
