Just need sterling not to get 30 pts for another mg ticket. Bunch of my opp had remy and sturridge. Lol them, and this is exactly why for smaller fields you shouldnt take those sort of risks.

Ya saw that should be fun and interesting to learn a new league.

Having a hard time finding cross data, but have found most every thing else fairly accessible.

Nothing as good as the epl data thats avaible sadly. I really need to learn coding so I can scrape sites.

Did they take away EPL on DK? I can't find it.

That'd be a bummer if it's gone because I was doing pretty well at it. And yeah, the data is way easier to find.

Which of the sites is the best one to start?
How do I get access to your content after registering with your link DuckSauce?

I thought about starting on Statclash, because of the low rake. Is there enough action on the low limits?

Statclash has some small stakes games, actually tends to be a bit of overlay on their GTD contests. they have decent freerolls and is great for getting your feet wet and learning the ropes. It's how I started (started with $0 and got it up to $200 before moving to DK for more volume).

Mondogoal also has both a US and UK freerolls that you can play for free as well to get started.

Not sure what your $ situation is, but taking the safe route of playing freerolls for a few weeks to start is never a bad idea.

I don't publish any of my research anymore unfortunately, but the basic stuff I have up is still fairly helpful. The private sections are more for me to look at my research easily if I'm not at home.

In all honesty it's worth doing your own research as you'll learn a ton as you go. Anyone posting picks is basically a glorified tout and likely keeping some of their best picks to themselves. It's cop out that won't make you a smarter player anyway.

I will start on Statclash, play the low limits there and then move on.

But for the next two weeks I will focus on Freerolls and then when the semester is over, I will start building a crawler and creating my own predictions etc.

Unfortunately the seasons in Europe will be almost over by then.

Personally I prefer DK to the smaller sites because of the liquidity. You can find pretty much any kind of game at any stakes. It's like the Pokerstars of DFS. I never really considered the rake, but I'm playing for meaningless amounts anyway.

I see that DK has added the EPL for Saturday... so, both MLS and EPL this weekend, woohoo!

today's epl is dumb. salary cap is not restrictive at all. i hate it when that happens.

Yeah, it more or less forces everyone to take the same high-valued players, which makes it hard to get an edge and takes the fun out of it as well.

Also my fade Chelsea strategy didn't work so hot. Why can't they rig these matches like a decent league would .

This isn't a bad thing. Just ignore the desire to max out your salary and make the best plays in a vacuum. The only playable person for che\mun was hazard. Was fairly easy to get a good team and have thousands left over. Eve d stack was necessary to win anything though.

MLS was fun, only 2 mistakes was not having neagle anywhere and thinking the morales dude for RSL would play.

Giovinco is so much better than almost anyone in the MLS its ridiculous. Toronto will be super scary when they get to play their home matches and stop sucking on d.

I guess that makes sense in a high variance sport like soccer, where the high scorers for the week can come from just about anywhere. Unlike say the NFL where the higher scorers are almost always the more expensive players so it's more often a mistake to fade them if you have the cap room to take them.

Yap, very few luxury players aren't subject to said variance.

yeah a train of lineups with pappa instead of some with him and some with neagle was the difference between me and first place in every gpp.

They sure do take their time on DK going final on the EPL games. Meanwhile, I'm hanging on to a cash in a GPP by my fingernails...

nice, i broke even on the EPL slate mostly due to being too bullish on palace and some last minute swapping that saw me switch from adam and ayoze -> albrighton and valencia in my main lineup / cash lu. That sucked, adam playing further back spooked me out of playing him.

In great shape for MLS tonight, in first in the boot and like 6th in the equalizer with some players still to play.

yeah i wanted adam in my cash lu and couldn't make it work. ended up with albrighton and philips. stacked arnautovic with adam and crushed for gpp.

palace are an enigma and with the recent performances i'm inclined to dump them into the "nothing to play for, so going to be ****" bucket that comes into play late in the season. i kept murray in my cash lu cuz it is hard not too but otherwise faded.

not sure why valencia or ayoze would even be on the radar for cash.

MLS has been insane. rocking >100% roi so far. the games were ridic tonight, so seemingly awesome lineups were barely cashing though.

Valencia playing solo vs qpr and rated highly in projectiins, same with ayoze and they fit the price range well for a forward. Ayoze on the wint is even better too.

Shipped the boot last night for 2k.

Only whiffs were higuain and mattocks. Had my eye in feilhaber but though that game would be low scoring. Hell be a good pick in the future for mf. Theres a distinct lack of good mfers, everyone good is listed as a forward.

qpr not as shambolic at the back recently and they have to perform whereas west ham are in lala land at this point. they haven't looked good without sakho (or carroll).

disappointed the gpps are so small today for mls. not as much free money.
