Played my first week of epl dfs this week (Hurray, nfl fish!). Luckboxed into a winning week, but wanted to get some feedback from players with more experience. Basically my only strategy was stacking home favorites.

Any glaring mistakes for h2h/50-50 strategies? To win tourneys I assume you want to stack gk/def that get clean sheets?

I had won a ticket for a $27 soccer tournament. When I tried to redeem my ticket for today's 6k guaranteed equalizer contest, it wouldn't let me. I had to contact support and had them resolve the issue so that I was able to redeem the ticket I won for today's contest. Things like this and not settling our wins from soccer contest quick enough can be annoying. If we were to start complaining and demanding changes as a group, maybe they would get their acts together. We just need a bit of respect. What do you guys think?

Everyone here is very competitive. You might want to do your research on playbook/draftkings. They really do a good job breaking down the games and highlighting key players that have the chance to maximize on dk fantasy pts.
Newcastle weren't expected to keep a clean sheet. Janmaat was a good pick as he gets shots and crosses in.
There were other better options for liverpool mid(Lalana, coutinho, sterling) than Henderson. Everton are in a bad run of form. It is risky to pick from their team and Naismith usually doesn't do much. He might get you the rare goal or assist. Costa could have been faded for a tough matchup against Totenham. At his price, he has to score a couple of goals or a bunch of shots on goal and assist. The problem today was everyone was going to be on Austin as he has consistently been scoring at home. You probably need to put at least one team with him just in case he performs as expected.

I don't get people always complaining about wins not settling fast enough. As long as it settles correctly why do I care if it takes a few hours? On FD NFL this year sometimes it wouldn't settle until 12+ hours after the last game. Sure it'd be nice if it went a bit faster but I don't see it as something worth getting worked up about. Are people playing all the money in their account or something?

Look I am saying that dk don't treat their soccer contests like their other sports. It doesn't take 10+ hours when you are playing nfl, nba.. to settle your wins. It is insane how big they are going on MMA. The promotion has been on their main page for few weeks now. If they gave soccer that kind of attention, there would be room to open it to a lot of casual other sport players. Otherwise, it would be just the usual regulars trading wins and losses week in week out.

Its possible burnley has magically learned how to score consistently, but its likely they are just running good. In general theyve been one of the worse teams on the road by a pretty big margin.

Yup, he's in one of my 4 or 5 entry contests. Took it for granted that he'd play. That's at least 10 pts down the drain

****ing cech people with 18 and heaton with 17. can't survive that.

Heaton was an easy play for two of my line-ups. Burnley are decent at home, QPR futile on the road. You're basically looking at an easy win bonus+saves.

heaton was in my other lineups. i liked chelsea gk a little better based on win bonus probability. i know qpr suck away, but it's burnley. if you are trying to get easy bonus points, burnley is never that safe of an option.

hazard was the main man in my cash lineup which is a big blow. ings was my #1 striker choice this week so that worked out. had berahino as #2 but not in all lineups. might cash a lot of 50/50s without a gk and hazard sucking.

Debuchy hurt inside 13 min. I mean I just can't get through a first half with my guys

DK has really inaccurate cross scoring it seems. After someone posted about trippier missing about 6 pts on rg I went back and checked my lu vs opta stats, my best lineup had 8 pts or so less than they should have.

I got kinda hosed on Eriksen's crosses too (along with trippier)

Keep in mind that corners dont count as crosses. Unsure about freekicks seems like sometimes they do sometimes they dont.

I had the brilliant idea of starting a DFS business until a quick search told me that I am obviously not the first person to think of this... I thought I was going to be rich for a second there.

As far as I can tell though Mondogoal is currently the main site available to UK players, is that correct or are there other options?

Well I figured thats standard and not the issue. The issue is using opta stats for developing picks when STATS INC uses different criteria for something like crosses. If I pick players that opta shows having a lot of crosses but stats inc has them at less crosses then its possible there would have been a better pick available if I had that info. Regularly seems crossing data is off.
