I'd love if they opened the US games to the UK, but not holding my breath.

Gutted about FanDuel, preferred the format a lot more than DraftKings.

They are the only one that refused to offer multi-sport games in the UK. Odd for platform based in Scotland that should know better and also when they can see others like DK, Yahoo, BetStars, Playon have gone the multi-sports and also global pools route. Not much going on this summer with new platforms except to see what Betfair/PP do with their Draft acquisition.

True, the way it should be done. How hard is that ? Tend to stay clear of sites that have payment complaints/issues. Not worth it.

Looking like Yahoo will be my main home for football DFS. Fantasfida has potential but still in the growing phase and player numbers still small. DK's football game not for me and do not play much of it. Eager to see the revamp at B4B and new game at Draft Fantasy, the other football DFS games do not hold much interest for a variety of reasons (scoring and site's interface).

Yeh I hope Yahoo ramp up the prize pools. I have a horrible feeling that B4TB won't come back, they seemed to throw a lot of money at it and yet there numbers just seemed to keep going down.

Looking positive at Yahoo as they added La Liga towards the end of the season and also MLS in the summer. So hopefully we get more leagues and bigger prizes as well. Also like how they have the semi-seasonal cup competition and a nice way to introduce people to DFS. I can not work out why other sites have not done this, it is a great way to introduce seasonal players to a platform and the new game formats on offer. Either that or spend a bit on targeted marketing.

Also for UK sites only like B4TB and others, there is no legal need to run guaranteed prize pools. Instead of running overlays offering unsustainable prizes and then closing shop after that, they can at first just be upfront and offer contests with open prize pools increasing with each entry. Then can use the money wasted on overlay to do proper marketing to get new players to sign up to the platforms. They seem to have it the other way round to me.

can someone update me on the "state of the games" on DK?

I played a tonne two seasons ago but then stopped.

- general difficulty level now compared to then?
- how are the prize pools ..... more players now or fewer?

I did pretty well when I played and even had a bunch of HU matches vs maxd that went ok but it seemed to be a tonne of hours in my spreadsheet vs not a great ROI in terms of $/hr because it was hard to get a lot of money down. Also towards the end it seemed that the players were getting better and everyone figured out the major flaw in the old scoring system (crosses)

Crosses are still the flaw in the scoring system.

DuckSauce endorsed and it gave incentives for signing up (Which he later reneged on after I signed up) so I figured it was legit.

I live in the USA so have no real recourse for action. They basically just took my money and ran. Scum

With FD gone and betstars guarantee way down compared to last year, Dk and Yahoo seem the only big options for UK players.

The Yahoo interface is so so bad compared to draft kings

I like it and Yahoo app had a recent revamp as well. I hardly use DK's desktop version and can not stand it. Guess it is what we get used too.

You can export the salaries in Yahoo, it can be found under the fixture tracker when you go to edit or enter a line-up.

On BetStars think they planning to add more game formats soon and that makes sense. Playing for jackpot is nice but with the way they cap entry limits hard to see how that can be profitable for them. Liking their MLB game so far.

Is BetStars DFS available in the UK?

I can find a BetStars UK website but it just looks like a sportsbook I dont see anything about DFS on it.
